It was a wild ride this quarter 4, and it's time to pause and Thank Everything around us, for it is certainly a better place for us creators and better still in 2025. @Mike Bayer Gosh, thank you for sharing this. This discussion is so powerful coming from you. We who have our livelihoods stolen as Artists working over 30+ years have been caught in a limbo (more so since 2022), although this nonsense has been going on if we have been commercial artists from as far back as whenever we have started in our careers. I ve been so used to seeing copycats all my life, and in the process got reasonably self-trained to protect myself. But come AI, and it was unbearable with the SLOP all around. Hopefully, we can soon relax and come out of our hibernation.

@Joann Salas hello and welcome back. Having reached 1000 subscribers is quite a feat. Hang in there. Back in July one of my channels got removed I had reported here when I had a little panic situation but knew I would be wasting my time with YouTube when their AI system must be mass removing channels. When I couldn't get thru to a human I just dropped trying. Now as we speak certain niches and those I started that may have been ideal a year ago may have got saturated. That happened to one of my animation channels because everytime I took a months break from that channel because of my real life projects I had to get busy with and when I came back I found my niched down direction would have got saturated. So I abandoned that channel. Now since July I just decided to just record my daily activities and art or business or lifestyle processes and post them. Separated those videos into multiple channels. I know it's tough to maintain more than one but I made it part of my daily chores. So I have a career channel where I have a few coaching programs in niche areas like AI, surviving job loss, etc , a relaxation channel because I cover a lot of videos while I travel, I have a comfort food channel because I'm a nutrition freak, a self-publishing channel where I record and post perhaps making of my books or journey how I purchase my isbns etc etc. and do how to videos how I got some of my books to reach best seller status, So it is in a way following Alexa s path. I want to attract people to my focused coaching programs. So Joanna what in my opinion you could try... So we don't reach burn out is... Treat YouTubing as recording your diary so that it'll be valuable even for you and your future generations including your family to look at one day. I hope this made sense 😇
