On TV - The Three Body Problem
Where have you seen references to the I Ching on TV? There was a beautiful scene in the second season The Three Body Problem in Netflix. Saw it too?

@Marine B. y. There was also a good audio book of it... Might want to take that one in and see how it compares.
䷄ #5: Waiting (xū)
Hexagram 5 often shows up when we feel ready, motivated, and willing to move and yet... life doesn’t quite follow our timing. That can bring a little restlessness or worry, especially when we’ve already done so much inner or outer preparation. This hexagram reminds me of a boat - that is ready, clean, the crew is on board, everything is in place, but truth is it cannot really go anywhere until the wind blows. So the feelings that envelop me with this one are around the invitation to relax into the pause, to nourish ourselves, and to trust that movement will come when conditions align. How does that resonate for you this week? ⛵

Surrender is key to me, and I guess many others, too. We are not in control. Taking that in is essential and a the pause is indeed a key process in the creative path. Learning to feel the rest, recuperation, and restoration that it offers, is a beautiful thing.

@Marine B. y. yes, puts me in mind of something that was oft quoted in the past: known as the "Serenity Prayer" by Reinhold Niebuhr, is: "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference".
