🍍 Performance Academy Week 4 [FREE RACE SUIT CHALLENGE]
Replay is up. Post your meet results from THIS WEEKEND using either "🏅Wins" or "💡Learnings" category (this is for EVERYBODY. The more @Yul Münger and I know, the better we can support ya. Make sense right?) 🦹‍♀️ HOW TO WIN A FREE RACE SUIT OF YOUR CHOICE The 6-Week Swimpros Race Suit Challenge (this is only for Academy swimmers): Action Steps: 1. Watch the replay of today's call here. Here's the Google Doc with the notes I used. 2. Answer the questions of the live call in the comments of this post below. 👇 You can win the race suit if you: 1. Have the 🔥 Badge (10 activities/day for 30 days) in 6 weeks from today (February 15th) 2. Comment in the pinned Skool post (every day): - Your new ID in 1 sentence - 3-5 pieces of proofs from today that you are becoming that new ID - Nutrition/Hydration score 1-10 (5 is average, we’re interested in the IMPROVEMENTS and why) - Visualize your ideal race(s) for 3mins before falling asleep Do the above every single day and you'll end of on the raffle to win the free race suit in 6 weeks from today (February 15th) 🥳 I'm posting an example now that will be pinned as the top comment for your reference.

@Vita Matic McDonalds is a must have after a big meet. It’s a tradition on our team since more than 20 years
🍓 Academy Week 5: Do HARD Things [pinned post]
Replay is up in the Classroom. Make sure you comment your answers in this post as you go thru the recording so I know what you're thinking. Much easier to provide feedback!! Look, so far we've covered: ✅ Goal Setting (the in-depth version) ✅ Michael Phelps breathing trick ✅ Visualization ✅ Basic nutrition for swimmers ✅ Desired identity statement ✅ You've gathered A LOT of evidence that supports your new identity 🔥 Keep the momentum going, 5 more weeks until we know who wins a brand new race suit of your choice!!! More and more fire badges are starting to appear I love it!! In today's training we have time for questions to make sure we're not leaving anybody behind. After that, we do a little magic together ok? It's gonna be workshop-style which means I'll ask you a series of questions that you can just answer in the comments. And at the end, you'll all have a massive done-and-ready improvement for this week. - No breakout rooms - No having to speak in front of everyone else ☺️

I’m the kind of swimmer who proofs to myself and the team I’m coaching that you can achieve your goals by fully committing no matter what they are Proof: - had a rest day today - Stretched out in the evening - Prepared everything for morning practice tomorrow (including Gatorade and chocolate milk) - Had a hard day at university but managed most of it and used it to study and wright some more plans for the next weeks Nutrition: 4/10 hit proteins but too much calories Hydration: 5/10 solid as always (3 1/2 liter with electrolytes)

If these are all LCM times that’s really impressive Congrats
Morning practice: love it or hate it
Today was the first time we had a second morning practice and I love it. It’s 8:30 am right now and I already finished both of today’s sessions which is a great feeling. We had a bit more than an hour in the water and 1 hour 15 minutes in the gym. We also filmed one 50 all out at the end of the resistance set. Went sub 30 again for backstroke😁 so I’m very happy with the time. Time to rest now until next practice on Saturday morning. (Can’t make it to practice this evening due to university) I know some of you will hate me for what I’m saying next so be prepared: I would love to train EVERY morning and not do every evening. Sadly our coach can’t make it because of his job😢 What do you guys think about morning practice? And sorry for the video quality. I think I need to teach my mates how to film a swimmer hahaha

@Amelie Erasmus yeah I know. It’s impressive every time and she surprises me every time with what she’s capable of. Currently she is top ten national in her age group in 4 different events
