The very first basket I made last fall (autumn colors); the second basket (cool colors); snowflake (of COURSE!). This spring: A colorful bread basket (which was an improv after the 3/16 natural reed I had ordered turned out to be rotten); and a Three Sisters tray kit I completed a few weeks ago (which bled all over and I’m still not happy with the tension around the handles). I’m getting the hang of it. I’m still slowwwww and don’t get to weave as much as I’d like (wife and homeschooling mom of four). But I’m having fun! Putting this here as an archive to remind myself later of my progress (almost all of these have been or will be given away).

I'm so proud to show these off. I worked on both in April and May. My first baskets!! Both are kits from Brittany. One is the Cat's Head Basket. The other is the Cross Stitch Napkin Basket. I added my own touch to both.

We just posted this fun flameless candle lantern project on YouTube. It's a beautiful way to use reed scraps.
