Getting back into the swing of it
Used to be a more competitive runner and raced a lot between the ages of 10 and 25. I was a more middle distance runner (4:12 miles, 32:30 10k), but that was a long time ago (I'm 53 ) and now just looking to stay in shape. I've completed several half and full marathons. I'm trying to complete my first ultra trail marathon. I've attempted two, but got timed out at the half-way point. Granted, I chose the more difficult courses with lots of elevations gain. My biggest challenge though has been getting my nutrition down. I'd love to get back into being a little bit faster.
