Cali vs Gym
I was wondering why some caliesthenics athletes use weights and go gym , I really want to switch from gym to entirely caliesthenics it’s way more fun, insane and free to workout from anywhere but does it actually can give a physique like Daniel laizans ? I really want ppl who have nice physique and skills to answer this question , thanks 🫶🏿.

Doing statics alone won't really build that much muscle but including dynamic exercises through a large ROM and for multiple reps can definitely build muscle
Find ur sweet spot in body weight to progress faster in statics
I found out tht everybody has different sweet spots in their body weight if they want to progress faster in statics. For me it's around 62-63kg. If i go above this body weight i find it rly difficult to progress in statics.

I'm lean at 80kg rn but I do want to build some more muscle so my sweet spot at the end will probably be around 85kg also if I grow a bit taller as well

How to fix Weak protrection in the planche ?

Try to push your shoulders forward and downwards and do this by thinking u r trying to get ur shoulder blades as far away from eachother as possible or get your shoulders as close together in front of you as possible. Doing holds in easier progressions or with bands and focusing on proper protraction work well. Also pointing ur elbows and shoulders forwards will help to also help with protraction and depression
