The pain of discipline or The pain of regret . What's your choice?
I made this guide boring, so you'll have to struggle and rely on your willpower. Every decision we make has two consequences, whether it immediately gives you pleasure or you have to suffer because of pain. For example, you like eating junk food, fapping, or smoking. Whatever gives you immediate pleasure (As you can see the orange line) soon the pleasure is no more and gets converted into pain. On the other hand, when you start reading a self-help book or start a business, it's painful at the start. Like when you join the gym, it's painful at the start, but as soon as you start getting results, you slowly start getting pleasure (green line). Whenever you are going to make a decision, try testing it with time, whether it is right or wrong in the long run, or you are just chasing instant gratification. You struggle with the wrong decision or you waste your time because you only focus on the upside of the orange line. Like if I go to a party with my degenerate mates, watch porn, eat junk food, or light a cigarette, instead of going to the gym and working out. I do these instant gratification activities or just watch a movie on Netflix "Netflix and chill". It will give me fun, but in the long run, it's going to ruin me. The orange line symbolizes our current life, and you can see where it's going. But if you choose the path of pain like you start a business, started to read a book, you daily do something which is going to be fruitful in the future, so eventually you will make a lot of mistakes in the start. As you can see the green line is going down first, you will suffer in pain, but soon things start getting compounded, and you learn from the mistakes. But the orange line indicates the repetition of mistakes. So if you do the bad habits they get compounded, but if you choose pain or discipline they get compounded. As you know the high-value men who work on themselves always say pain is delayed pleasure, but the instant pleasure is delayed pain. People often collect the seeds of pain (smoking, fapping, ruining a relationship, addictions, etc.) thinking that is pleasure. As the seeds begin to grow, what actually they have done.
