How's Your Community Doing?
I'd love to hear about your Community. 📚 Learned something about your community? 👉 Doing something well? 🙈 Having a problem? 🎖️ Introduced a new activity? If you could say 1 thing about your community this week - what would it be?

I'm brand new to the platform, so my community is just me for now. But I did learn how to create a course. I celebrate learning any new thing, so... Neuroplasticity for the win!

@Paul Sirvinskas I accidentally lied. I do have one member aside from me. Lol But yeah, I'mexcited to see where this goes. Heavy golden retriever energy right now. Feeling like I'm on the right track and the universe is patting me on the head with a warm smile and a, "Good girl." ☺️

⏱️ 24 Hours in a Day is Officially Outdated
It’s 2025. I need more. Between work, projects, fitness, relationships, eating, thinking about eating, attempting to meditate, and pretending I’m staying “balanced”… The math just doesn’t math. 😅 So I’m proposing an upgrade: ➡️ Day 2.0 — now with 30 hours! (Still not enough, but at least we’d be honest about it.)

Just gotta learn to dominate these 4D time constraints. Learned that from a tarot reader I follow, and I love it. We can't control how much time we have, but we can control how we spend it.

I talk about Community activities and Management methods. But building a Community is more than that. Building a Community is understanding People. It’s seeing that different People join the Community for different reasons. The diversity they bring makes the Community lively. So we should welcome it. Also, people have personal Goals. Some are business-related; others are self-related. People want help with their Goals... Even when those Goals aren’t related to the Community’s common Goal. As Managers we should ask ourselves - how can we help our Community members best? I used to work with startup founders who relocated to my country. I handled selection and Community building after they arrived. I also helped with Company Registration, finding Apartments, and Business Development. I helped where I could, even if it wasn’t part of my role. Over time, I noticed that people who I could help became more active and our relationships grew stronger. Meanwhile, those I couldn’t help stayed more distant. That showed me a lot about what people want from their Communities. So I believe we should help people in our Community - It makes the Community Strong and builds personal relationships. I really liked how @Harvey Raybould did it in his community. He runs a community about finances, but he asked if people want help with any aspects of their lives. If you haven't already, check out his community

I see this in my day job. I sell insurance, but I also have a background in banking and in law. So I'm able to help people in ways they may not have anticipated. With regard to my purpose (helping trauma survivors), I've actually had a customer call me when she was in a dangerous situation (which I DO NOT recommend) instead of the police. Why me? Because I help how I can. The phrase, "That's not my job," has no place here with me. We're all just walking each other home, as they say.
