If Your Passion is not Paying Bills, Put it on Pause!
I always read people say "follow your passion" but if your passion is not paying bills, put it on pause so you can focus on income producing skills and come back to it later when you are able to focus on it with no worries. Do not let your passion draw you down to poverty.
Stop waiting to feel ready β€” learn this instead
I used to think I needed to know everything before I could start freelancing. The problem is that mindset left me spinning my wheels. Weeks, or worse, months would go by, and I'd be right back where I started. Sound familiar? But here’s the thing: waiting to feel β€œready” is one of the biggest mistakes you can make. You don’t need to be perfect to start; you just need to be willing to learn. We're so lucky we have so much knowledge at our fingertips. I'm firmly convinced you can learn the basics of building a freelance business in a month. That's where rapid skill building comes in. Get on YouTube, find a podcast, or go to SkillShare or Udemy. Do a quick Google search, and you'll find thousands of free or cheap courses and teachers online. Instead of waiting and overthinking, focus on learning and doing small things right now β€” copywriting, email marketing, newsletters, niche sites, LinkedIn posts, scriptwriting, etc. It's all out there. And you can learn it in an hour a day for over the next month. I promise this approach is the fastest way to build confidence and start taking real action toward your goals. (Sean) The best reminder as we start 2025 in a few days! ✍️

@Ken Makunga yes, it breeds motivation.
Embrace the "foolish beginner" stage
Embarrassment is the cost of entry into anything. If you're not willing to look like a foolish beginner, you'll never become a graceful master. So don't let fear of looking inept hold you back from starting something new; it's a necessary step on the path to mastery.

@Ken Makunga Welcome
You’re doing great!
Progress over perfection always wins. Keep showing up. Someone out there needs what you offer.
