📚 Friends, Lovers, and The Big Terrible Thing by Matthew Perry
✨ New Arrival Alert! ✨ INSTANT #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER #1 INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLER The BELOVED STAR OF FRIENDS takes us behind the scenes of the hit sitcom and his struggles with addiction in this “CANDID, DARKLY FUNNY...POIGNANT” memoir (The New York Times) A MOST ANTICIPATED BOOK by Time, Associated Press, Goodreads, USA Today, and more! “Hi, my name is Matthew, although you may know me by another name. My friends call me Matty.” "So begins the riveting story of acclaimed actor Matthew Perry, taking us along on his journey from childhood ambition to fame to addiction and recovery in the aftermath of a life-threatening health scare. Before the frequent hospital visits and stints in rehab, there was five-year-old Matthew, who traveled from Montreal to Los Angeles, shuffling between his separated parents; fourteen-year-old Matthew, who was a nationally ranked tennis star in Canada; twenty-four-year-old Matthew, who nabbed a coveted role as a lead cast member on the talked-about pilot then called Friends Like Us. . . and so much more. In an extraordinary story that only he could tell―and in the heartfelt, hilarious, and warmly familiar way only he could tell it―Matthew Perry lays bare the fractured family that raised him (and also left him to his own devices), the desire for recognition that drove him to fame, and the void inside him that could not be filled even by his greatest dreams coming true. But he also details the peace he’s found in sobriety and how he feels about the ubiquity of Friends, sharing stories about his castmates and other stars he met along the way. Frank, self-aware, and with his trademark humor, Perry vividly depicts his lifelong battle with addiction and what fueled it despite seemingly having it all. Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing is an unforgettable memoir that is both intimate and eye-opening―as well as a hand extended to anyone struggling with sobriety. Unflinchingly honest, moving, and uproariously funny, this is the book fans have been waiting for."

Moxa's recommendation of LME classes for Chinese
Today, a Chinese classmate came to me for class recommendation of LME. We talked about one hour happily, but after that I realized this happened several times before, why don't I make a post here? It's mainly for Chinese students, so Chinese first, English later. I'm a real Chinese student, which means I spent over ten years on English since middle school, performing well academically, poor in listening and speaking. If you are like this, and once saw me sharing or even showing off my progress, here is my recommendation. 1. The first one, English Camp. It's totally worth it! CS teaches us through live class once a week, listening and speaking classes are arranged alternatively, has AMA class and practice class, even challenges for you to practice your spoken English. The only thing is, we often have a relatively long line to practice in live class, but that would totally be fine if you take good use of AMA classes in our community! The second one, 8-week program, where I began to rocket! It's consisted of 8 PIRF, all well selected to hit our weak parts. It's like a game, you are the player to control the pace. For each PIRF, you: (1)get the assignment, a passage or so, need to practice 3 times a day for 3 or 4 days, then send your recording to the mailbox. Soon you will receive the VIDEO feedback from coaches(not CS himself but all super good coaches) to point out your problems and teach you how to speak correctly.

@Mila Zinoveva Thanks Mila, you’re so 😊 This new student is grandpa age. It’s difficult to figure out some computer issues for elder people, so I appreciate your help and patience.

💬 Chit Chat, Anyone ? ☕ Who’s Up for a HANGOUT? 💻🎧 🗓️ December 12th 🕛 12pm Moscow / 5pm Beijing JOIN ME GUYS! 👇 https://www.skool.com/lme/calendar?eid=b3a45586218e400db1123472bf3f66c1&eoid=1765530000 What Is LME Friend’s Club? - It’s a community hangout space on the Let’s Master English (LME) Skool platform.  - It’s described as “Learning Together, Improving Big Time” — so the emphasis is on peer support and community.  - They run random hangouts, meaning informal sessions where members can chat, practice, and connect.  How It Fits Into LME - LME has a classroom section for structured learning (lessons, DDM listening, PIRF speaking).  - The Friend’s Club provides a less formal, more social component — not just studying, but just being in a community with fellow English learners. - It can help with motivation, confidence, and practicing English in a low-pressure environment. Who It’s For - Anyone in the LME community who wants to hang out, talk, and improve English in a more casual way. - Especially useful for learners who benefit from community — not just formal lessons, but speaking and interacting with peers. - Good for building real-world speaking confidence, because it’s not just about assignments — it’s about conversations. WE LEARN FROM EACH OTHER! 🤝
