Bring your questions….
Hello karate weekly skoolers. I need your help… what is something you have wanted to ask in a karate class but haven’t got around to? Comment with your question and I’ll get to doing a video answer. It could be a technical question, an application question, a history question or anything else. 1.2.3 GO!!! Below is me asking Masuda sensei a question on Sanchin in Okinawa. This question and answer changed my karate forever…

Any tips to help with regulating breathing in kumite? How to relax and slow things down?
Seiwakai Seminar
The last two days in Sydney training with Fujiwarra Hanshi has been exhausting physically and mentally. 7 hours yesterday and 5 the day before, minimal breaks and intense training takes you to another level. Sessions like these challenge you to keep focussed, to keep pushing and force you to find your limits and go beyond. Getting to 9.29 pm last night working on Suparinpei and Hanshi says ‘mo Ichi do’ . It took every last piece of energy to perform it at full focus and intensity. Forcing us to rise to his expectation. This is what a great instructor does. Very grateful to be able to learn from Hanshi. Looking forward to today’s rest day before the weekends training starting tomorrow morning.

Would normally take most the day to get this all off the pallets but knowing I will only get one maybe two training sessions in challenged myself and got it done in just over an hour. Trying my best to keep core engaged, shoulders back and down with elbows in. Sounds like a karate lesson to me.
6 min Sauna Session
Hey everyone. This weeks sauna session now up. I’d love your feedback on this one as it’s a little different. Enjoy.

This is great. We all need a little inspiration at times. Appreciate having a Sensie that cares about his students enough to share and give the little push that is needed when he can see people struggling. I often find it hard to want to drag myself to training after a hard day at work or with other life stresses but always feel better for it when I do. Ready to push myself and keep turning up.
