Hello…..It’s good to be back….good to be back
So after after a round of tests, it has been discovered that they don’t know what causes my outbreaks, but they believe them to be hives. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Anyway, I come back and see my friend @The Rain Society is 200 points from Level 8. Let’s push him over today!

Great to hear the update from you, my brother! Hopefully they’ll be able to figure it out soon :)

I remember testing this on my skin and writing a review before. Saw it on sale. Never have i ever snatched a fragrance up so quickly. I’m absolutely in love with the raspberry/incense leather DNA

Ocean Noir Dive / Michael Malul — first wearing of this flanker so initial thoughts only. Dive drops the seaweed and musk in favor of elemi, lavender and labdanum, giving the Ocean DNA a lighter/fresher feeling while still being definitely Ocean Noir. Performance is a bit shorter than its big brother, not sure if some shelf time will help that along … Still a nice addition to the line and I’m glad I found a bottle.

would you say this one is a little less mass appealing than the og? seems saltier and less fruity

@Sean Kavanaugh welcome back!
SOTD: Acqua di Giò edt by Giorgio Armani 02/05/2026
I've been learning to appreciate this line lately, aquatics were never my vibe, but lately maybe it's the recent heat, but ADG is growing on me. Picked up this whopper 200ML bottle for a bargin. As an edt, I reckoned I could spray away with this one. This classic, is the granddad of the aromatic aquatic genre. Launched in 1996, it was created by the legendary master perfumer Alberto Morillas, said to have been inspired by the the rugged, sun-drenched landscape of the Mediterranean island of Pantelleria. This og composition is a masterclass in balance, opening with a vibrant, zesty splash of Calabrian bergamot, neroli & green tangerine, which give a sense of citrusy energy. As the initial brightness settles, the heart reveals its signature marine accord, masterfully blended with floral notes like jasmine & freesia, alongside spicy hints of rosemary & nutmeg. This salty sea water effect is the fragrance’s core identity. Finally, the scent dries down into a subtle, masculine base of cedarwood, patchouli, white musk, & oakmoss, which grounds the airy aquatic notes with a warm, earthy finish. In terms of performance, Acqua di Giò has moderate projection with a polite sillage, making it a safe choice for close-quarter environments. You can expect 3 to 4hrs on the skin, requiring a midday refresh if you intend for it to carry through an entire evening. With its light, refreshing nature, it is best suited for the spring & summer months, as heat helps the citrus and marine notes project more effectively. It is the ultimate daytime fragrance, perfect for casual weekend outings, office settings, or beach vacations where a clean aura is desired. My Rating 7/10 Scent 2.5 Longevity 2 Sillage 1.5 Y/N 1
