๐ŸŽ„New Year, New Resources: Expanding Our Classroom Content๐ŸŽ„
I hope everyone had a Happy Holidays! ๐ŸŽ„โœจ It's been an incredible year, and I wanted to share some exciting updates about our community's direction and growth. Between recovering from COVID, managing client projects, and getting engaged (she said yes! ๐Ÿ’), the quieter holiday moments gave me time to think deeply about how we can make this space even more valuable for each of you. I've been working on something I'm genuinely excited about: a comprehensive expansion of our technical documentation. This is a deep dive into the systems and integrations that power low-code/no-code web applications. I've just finished documenting AG Grid implementations and WeWeb + Xano architectural patterns, explaining not just the "what" but the "why" behind these powerful tools. By making this documentation available to Level 2 members (achieved with just 5 thumbs-up on your contributions), I'm hoping to grow a community where knowledge flows naturally. Your insights and questions enrich our discussions, and in return, you get deep technical resources that can accelerate your development journey. Let me show you how this works: I've just wrapped up an extensive explanation of the AG Grid integration. While the paid boilerplates include ready-to-use components with frontend and Xano backend (perfect for those who want to hit the ground running), the free Level 2 documentation reveals exactly how these pieces fit together. You'll understand the architecture, the data flow, and how to build it yourself from scratch if you choose. You can read through the documentation, grasp the complexity involved, and then make an informed decision about whether to use the paid boilerplate or build your own solution. Both paths are equally valid โ€“ what matters is that you have the knowledge to choose what works best for your project. This approach reflects my vision for our community: not just a place for surface level info, but a hub where members can access in-depth and practical knowledge at any time through our classroom. It's about creating a cycle where participation leads to learning, and learning leads to better participation.

I used Replit Agent to create a game in under 30 minutes writing 0 lines of code
I created a game after my partner saw this video that had her laughing uncontrollably. At first, I thought she was crying, but it turned out to be laughter. That moment sparked an idea, and I decided to surprise her with a Tinkerbell Adventure game! Using Replit and its Agent, I built the game in just a few minutesโ€”without writing a single line of code. In the game, Tinkerbell is on a quest to fly home. But watch out! Hooks are falling from the sky, and if one hits her, she loses a life. Players get 3 lives to make it through 11 levels. Along the way, there are power-ups to collect, and a leaderboard to see top scores. The game works on both desktop and mobile, though I think desktop offers the best experience. Give it a try and see if you can help Tinkerbell make it home! Here is a link to the game. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Grammar Improver Chrome Extension
I used the Replit Agent to create a Grammar Improver Chrome Extension, a tool that enhances my writing directly in the browser. My main use is for grammar improvement, pasting my text into the extension for refinement before sending emails or improving prompts. Using the tool boosts my confidence in written communication, helping me articulate my thoughts more clearly. The extension works by requesting an OpenAI API key. Once provided, you can use it in your browser with the chatGPT 4 model, or configure it to use other models. I've launched this product on gumroad as a .zip file. Shoutout to @Rene Tatua for the idea to ship zip files as the first prototype. With this solution it's easy to set up in under two minutes, and you get the code to modify or use as is. I also used AI to generate the copy for the product details using the Replit agent to create a markdown file. Here is a link to the product on gumroad: https://danielmigizi.gumroad.com/l/grammar-improver-gpt4

Grammar Improver Chrome Extension
I'm looking for a talented WeWeb and Xano developer to collaborate on a migration project.
Project Overview: - The client currently has an MVP built on Softr and Airtable and is looking to migrate to WeWeb and Xano. What they're Looking For: - Strong expertise in WeWeb and Xano. - Proven experience in platform migrations, ideally from low-code tools like Softr and Airtable. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira. Key Responsibilities: - Lead hands-on development efforts. - Collaborate closely with the clientโ€™s development team. - Guide the migration process and share best practices. - Ensure a smooth and efficient transition to the new platform. Additional Info: - This is a time-sensitive project, with a target completion date before a major announcement at the end of January. - Immediate availability is essential. - The role is flexibleโ€”project-based or full-timeโ€”with the potential for a long-term collaboration if itโ€™s the right fit. Send me a DM if interested.

Synchronous Work > Asynchronous Work
Lately, Iโ€™ve been experimenting with a new approach: collaborative build sessions with my clients. Instead of the traditional asynchronous back-and-forth, we work together in real time for an hour or two each day, building and iterating directly on their project scope. The best part? Watching clients actively solve their own business challenges. This hands-on strategy bridges the gap between business and technology, fostering ownership and empowering teams to iterate and test new ideas long after our sessions end. Rather than pouring resources into disconnected development cycles, this approach enables clients to actively shape their software in real-time. I think the best approach is to combine a mix of both synchronous and asynchronous work to really accelerate development. But so far synchronous work is proving to be valuable.
