Thank you Hvetter and Sebastian ☺️ There were many great takeaways from the conversation in terms of music creation, but I also enjoyed it for what it was, two musicians enthusiastically talking about their music πŸ‘πŸ»

@Sebastian Jautschus Sorry Sebastian, but I have short term memory problems and the podcast was over a month ago, so answering your question is impossible. But I do remember enjoying the good vibe from you both 😊
leaderboard shout-out brainstorming
since we've started the community, I've been toying with the idea of implementing the leaderboard in a fun/casual way. I'd love to give regular shout-outs to the most active guitarwavers. who are rn @Joe Cabrera as the all-time leader, @Martin Eibisch, @Freddie Webber, and @Simon Burkhardt for being so consistently present, and our new runner-up @Graeme Ross 🫢🏼 you guys especially make this place what it is. I'm so thankful for being able to come here and always find new conversations, topics, thoughts, support, and questions. you guys rock (calmly) ❀️ any ideas what a nice little thing/sign/gesture of gratitude could be? 🦦

A tip of the hat to Debussy
Debussy is my favourite composer, and Clair de Lune is my favourite of his many wonderful pieces. This video is my wee tip of the hat to the great man, may he rest in peace. I hope it brings you a moments joy, as it always does for me 😊 https://youtu.be/JeKejkUzzKo

Thank you Joe πŸ‘πŸ» With the help of Mrs R I can know record a guitar track and add a few effects like an amp and reverb 😊 I have a keyboard controller too, but I am getting nowhere quick with that 🀣
elasticStage: On-demand Vinyl & CD
Hey guitarwavers, I wanted to share a genuinely great option for on-demand vinyl and CD production. elasticStage (based in London) offers pressings with no minimum order quantities β€” meaning you can literally order a single (!) vinyl without having to go into pre-financing or bulk production. The whole process works directly through their website: audio upload, artwork setup, formats, pricing β€” all pretty straightforward. I was honestly impressed by the overall quality, both visually and sonically. The record was pressed in the UK, and I waited roughly five weeks from order to delivery. The total cost for one vinyl including shipping to Germany was about 35 €, which feels fair to me for a true on-demand product. According to elasticStage, they ship to many countries around the world. For anyone interested, here’s a detailed breakdown of their pricing: https://elasticstage.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/32932041317649-How-does-pricing-work Never thought I’d actually hold a vinyl record with my own music in my hands β€” but here we are 😊

That is cool as fudge Martin 😎 Just imagine, you could print up ten or so and pass them out as Christmas presents.

With the help of the long suffering Mrs Ross I managed to record in the daw, get it out in mp3 form, and then stick a wee slideshow on it. Comments/suggestions welcome 😽 https://youtu.be/Jjus8g7P-s4
