@Bill Widmer true story 🙌
If your body crashes halfway through your workday… read this.
A lot of ADHD founders think they have a focus problem… …when it’s actually a body problem. → You sit at a laptop for hours every day → Your neck/back/hips start nagging → Your energy drops → You open a new tab instead of finishing the thing It's not a discipline problem. It's a nervous system + body capacity problem. If you want to fix this problem—permanently—then my buddy @Michael Rizk has something amazing for you: 👉 The Expanding Capacity Program This is for you if: - You work on a laptop 4+ hours/day - Your body feels tight, stiff, or “off” regularly - You’ve tried stretching / workouts but it doesn’t carry over to your workday - You want more consistent focus + energy And Michael is doing a killer Skool Games offer right now: 🤯 Free 1:1 coaching with any subscription (he normally charges ~$300/hr) If this gives you even: → +1–2 extra hours of focused work per day → Less pain = less distraction → More consistency (instead of boom/bust days) That’s easily worth way more than $99. I don’t share many communities… …but this one actually solves a root problem most founders ignore. 👉 Join here Heads up: the promotion ends on Saturday!

Help me build our new icon!
I'm working on a new vibe for the icon. Something simple, modern, and attention-grabbing. Something members of the Founder's Guild can recognize and feel proud of. Something memorable. Here are some concept ideas I've come up with so far. What do we think? Do any of these feel like they hit the mark?

The only skill that matters
Funny… I moved into my new home yesterday. This morning, as I was unpacking my office to get ready for the work day, I stumbled upon an old box of books from many years ago. I used to be a very avid reader, and with this new home I figured what the hell… I want to pick up my reading habit and shift into the identity of a reader again. So I open one of my many boxes of books to see what I had inside. The very first book? The only skill that matters by Jonathan Levi. A book about learning to become a “super learner”. Speed reading. Memory enhancements. Learning how to learn. Funny how the universe works like that sometimes. I don’t think there’s a single book in my entire collection that makes more sense for me to read first than this one.

@Bill Widmer definitely sounds like a book I need to read! The Only Skill That Matters by Jonathan Levi The central thesis of the book is that the most valuable skill in the modern world is the ability to learn quickly and effectively. Jonathan Levi argues that intelligence is not fixed, memory is trainable, and learning is a system—not a talent. By mastering how to learn, you unlock every other skill more efficiently. The book focuses on three core pillars: 1. Learning How to Learn: Understanding how the brain encodes, stores, and retrieves information. Levi introduces meta-learning principles—how to break skills down, reduce friction, and structure learning for speed and retention. 2. Speed Reading: Training the brain to process text more efficiently by eliminating subvocalization, expanding visual intake, and increasing focus. The goal is not skimming, but higher comprehension at higher speeds. 3. Memory Enhancement: Using mnemonic techniques such as memory palaces, visualization, and association to dramatically improve recall. Memory is treated as a skill built through technique, not repetition alone. Core Message: If you can upgrade your ability to learn, you can upgrade every domain of your life—career, health, relationships, and creativity. The competitive advantage of the future belongs to the adaptive learner. In essence: Learn faster. Remember more. Adapt continuously.
