I have finished my Celestia top double sided. I love this project. I solved some challenges with double sided knitting, especially for short rows, increasing/decreasing and finishing. However at the end I think it is OK. I used 700g Bambú M from CasaSol and worked on 3,5 needles. More detailed pictures you can find on Ravelry (Tanikp11). Tawus is the Arabic word for peacock. The name came from the lace motifs at the top of the yoke, which reminded me of a peacock tail. It is a sport weight lace cardigan using a top-down and seamless construction, which means you can try it on as you go. 😍 The upper yoke has more elaborate lacework that asks for your full attention, and there will be moments where it feels tricky. But it does click into place, and from there the lower body changes into a much simpler lace. I really wanted to finish this and wear it to my daughter's post secondary grad. I snuck in under the wire with 40 hours to spare! I feel in love with the bind off Zanette shows in a video for one of her upcoming patterns so decided to use it on this one. Here it is, the finished Amber Blossoms 🥳. I changed the bottom because I'd run out of light-colored yarn, but I do have more jacquard and a colorful ribbing at the bottom. Maybe that's not a major violation of the pattern 🫣. I got the size right, and it feels really good, but I don't know if I'll be able to wear it before summer, or if it'll be saved for fall 🤔.
