So many beautiful finished projects. I started my Caeli sweater for this KAL, but then I applied for 2 test calls, so was not able to finish it and tests cannot be posted here 🙃Next time I have to manage my time in better way. 😀
The Tawus Cardigan is now out with a step-by-step Classroom course
Tawus is the Arabic word for peacock. The name came from the lace motifs at the top of the yoke, which reminded me of a peacock tail. It is a sport weight lace cardigan using a top-down and seamless construction, which means you can try it on as you go. 😍 The upper yoke has more elaborate lacework that asks for your full attention, and there will be moments where it feels tricky. But it does click into place, and from there the lower body changes into a much simpler lace. There is a full step-by-step course available here in the Classroom that walks you through everything step by step. The pattern is available at zaneteknits.com/patterns, and because we just launched our new website, it's available for 20% less, along with all other self-published patterns, when using code WEB26. Newsletter subscribers, check today's newsletter for your exclusive code. 🎁 Offer expires end of day 10th of May, 23:59 BST and if you get any trouble with the code, please get in touch before completing the transaction as discounts can't be applied after the fact.

@Naheed Brown I used 5,5 skeins of Kaos Yarn Luxury Soft Merino
Celestia top double sided
I have finished my Celestia top double sided. I love this project. I solved some challenges with double sided knitting, especially for short rows, increasing/decreasing and finishing. However at the end I think it is OK. I used 700g Bambú M from CasaSol and worked on 3,5 needles. More detailed pictures you can find on Ravelry (Tanikp11). Thank you Zanete for this beautiful pattern.

@Cindy Beckwith scarf? English is not my native language, so probably there is a difference. 😅

@Natalya Yasinovaya when I did a swatch I did in both colors and I was not able to decide which I like more. And my husband told me: do it double sided and you will have both. So I tried swatch and I like it. So I started and then as it was going I solved all the challenges I have met like short rows, nekband, hem and cuffs, increases, decreases....
A Change of plans for the MYAL Virtual Fashion Show
Hello my lovely MYAL knitters 🧶 I need to share a change of plan with you, and I want to be honest about why. It has been a difficult few days for me and I have been quite affected. Those of you who follow me on Instagram will very likely now what I am referring to. Right now, I am not in the right place to host a live celebration the way I planned. And I do not want that to take away from what this event was meant to be: a celebration of YOU and all the work you have done. For many of you, this was your first all-over colourwork sweater, your first steek, your first time trying something out of your comfort zone. And that deserves to be celebrated properly, not under a dark cloud. So here is what I would love you to do instead. Please reply to this thread with: ❤️ your favourite photo of your Rujuu Sweater, whether it is a WIP or FO. ✨ 3 words that describe your Rujuu knitting experience 🤔 One thing that surprised you (a challenge or a win) 💡 One thing you would do differently next time We will celebrate together here, on Skool, and I promise I will be cheering for each and every one of you. Thank you for your patience with me this week. I am so proud of what you have all made. 🤍

A new Latvian-mitten inspired colourwork sweater pattern 🤩
The Pasaka Sweater is the second design in my Tribute to Latvian Mittens collection. The name means "fairy tale" in Latvian, inspired by a traditional mitten that reminds me of a snow flake so perfect it could only exist in a fairy tale. ❄️ The construction is a top-down round yoke and the stranded colourwork has some longer floats in places, which should be caught using the Ladderback Jacquard method. The pattern includes videos, as well as charts with suggested ladder placements. There's also a full construction deep dive on YouTube if you want to see me go in more detail. You can use code PASAKA at checkout on Ravelry or Etsy for 20% off, valid until 22nd March, end of day UK time. Newsletter subscribers, if you haven't already seen it, last Wednesday's newsletter will have your exclusive code. P.S. Discounts cannot be applied after the transaction has been completed.
