Thanks to Jane Lawson for teaching me all of this
My Client Case Study last night ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ A client came to me seeking support for chronic, non-healing skin problems on her hands. As an aromatherapist, I used kinesiology to help select essential oils that best matched her current needs. The oils identified were Marjoram, Angelica, and Niaouli. Kinesiology indicated that Marjoram should be used in the highest proportion, followed by Angelica, with Niaouli in the smallest amount. Based on the properties traditionally associated with these oils, Marjoram appeared to correspond with her symptoms of IBS, chronic skin irritation, and unresolved grief. Angelica was selected to support the skin, while Niaouli was chosen for its traditional association with emotional resilience and inner strength. We also explored the symbolic meaning of the skin and the specific area affected. Within the framework we were using, the skin was associated with experiences of separation and loss, while the conditions presenting on hands specifically were interpreted as relating to trauma connected with masculine energy. As we discussed the client's personal history, an important pattern emerged. Her skin problems first appeared when her much older brother, who had taken on the role of a father figure in her life, left home. She realised that she had unconsciously tried to fill the emotional void and take over his role within the family. She never felt able to meet those expectations because it was never truly her role. Together, we considered whether this unresolved loss may have been emotionally significant for her. More recently, her skin condition had become noticeably worse following another major loss—her grandmother passed away not long ago. During the consultation, we reflected on whether this recent bereavement may have reactivated earlier feelings of grief and separation. I prepared a personalised topical cream containing the selected essential oils for her to apply to the affected areas. An unexpected and meaningful moment occurred when she smelled the blend. She immediately said that the aroma was exactly like the scent of her late grandmother's home. The fragrance instantly brought back memories of the time she had spent there with her grandmother.

Hi Everyone. I have nearly 30 years of experience looking after my dental patients as a dental hygienists. Coming to a better world from not so easy to live and thrive european post Soviet and Soviet run country in 70s and the 80s having experienced many traumas in my life including a dental trauma, understanding the subject from my own experience found myself a sense of life and a career helping traumatised patients in the Uk. I look after very dentally anxious patients to help them preserve and restore their dentition in most TLC and comfortable enviroment. Recently found myself getting very tired and burning out from doing so much dentistry work. Needed to find something to bring me back a nice balance in life. Decided on a new adventure and joined Jane's courses to become a Reflexologist and Aromatherapist in 2025 to try a new career in the natural therapies. Dropped hours at the dentist to be able to run my little holistic therapy business treating more clients in much more relaxing set up restoring and supporting their general health through Reflecology and Aromatherapy. Currently also studing Craniosacral Therapy. Im so glad to be here and thank you so much to Jane helping me with my new careers which are found to be so successful 😍🫶😎xxx
