PEPTIDE JUNKIES — I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
We talk a lot about the science behind peptides, what they’re being studied for, different protocols, stacks, and all the potential benefits…but nothing beats hearing from REAL PEOPLE about their actual experiences. So, let’s hear it — the GOOD, the BAD, and the “well, THAT didn’t go as planned.” What peptides have you tried? What was your experience? Did you notice a difference? How long did it take before you noticed anything? Any unexpected benefits? Any side effects or things you absolutely did NOT like? Did you try something that everyone else seems to love…and it did absolutely NOTHING for you? Or maybe you found one that made you think, “Where has this been all my life?” Share your experience in the comments! Don’t worry about writing a novel or sounding scientific. Just tell us what you tried and what happened. And please share the not-so-great experiences too. Those are just as valuable as the success stories. One of the best things about this group is that we can learn from each other. Peptides can affect people very differently, and someone else’s experience isn’t proof of what will happen for you — but hearing different perspectives can definitely help us all ask better questions and make more informed decisions. NO JUDGMENT. NO PEPTIDE SHAMING. JUST REAL EXPERIENCES FROM REAL PEOPLE. Alright, Peptide Junkies…spill it. What peptide has given you your BEST experience — and which one gets a big fat NOPE from you?

@Alina Jones me too 🥹🙌🏼
Snap 8
Susannah Bobowicz I know raw snap 8 can be mix with HA and used topically, however ive seen that there is a liquid peptide version of this, has anyone ever used it? If so what were your results? And is it better than the topical?

Let's Talk About Peptides and Constipation.....💩
One of the most common questions I get is: "Is this peptide causing my constipation?" The answer is: Sometimes yes. Sometimes no. And sometimes the peptide is only part of the story. When people think of peptide-related constipation, they're usually talking about GLP-1 medications such as: • Semaglutide • Tirzepatide • Retatrutide • Survodutide These compounds slow gastric emptying, meaning food moves through the digestive tract more slowly. This is one of the reasons they work so well for appetite control and weight loss. The downside? Slower digestion can sometimes lead to: • Constipation • Bloating • Fullness • Gas • Abdominal discomfort Many people assume the medication itself is the only cause. In reality, several things often happen at the same time: You're Eating Less When food intake drops significantly, stool volume often drops too. Less food in = less waste out. Or as I like to tell people: "You can't poop what you didn't eat." I know it's not the most glamorous explanation, but it's true. Many people go from eating three meals and snacks every day to eating a fraction of what they used to consume. Naturally, there is going to be less material moving through the digestive tract. You're Drinking Less Many people on GLP-1s don't just lose their appetite. They lose their thirst, too. Dehydration is one of the most common contributors to constipation. You're Not Getting Enough Fiber When appetite decreases, fruits, vegetables, and other fiber sources are often the first foods people stop eating. You're Not Moving Enough Physical activity helps stimulate normal bowel function. The less you move, the slower things can become. Peptides Besides GLP-1s While GLP-1s get most of the blame, constipation can occasionally occur with other peptides if: • Food intake decreases significantly • Hydration is inadequate • Physical activity declines • Other supplements or medications contribute In many cases, the peptide isn't directly causing the constipation—it's the changes in eating and drinking habits that occur while using it.

7X AND 8X PEPTIDE TESTING: BETTER QUALITY CONTROL OR BETTER MARKETING?
If you've been shopping around the peptide research world lately, you've probably seen it: 7X TESTED! 8X TESTED! THE MOST EXTENSIVELY TESTED PEPTIDES AVAILABLE! And usually somewhere nearby is a considerably higher price tag. So let's talk about what 7X and 8X testing actually means — and whether you should automatically pay more for it. FIRST: THERE IS NO UNIVERSAL "7X" OR "8X" STANDARD This is probably the most important thing to understand. "7X tested" is not an official FDA, USP, or industry grade. It's generally a marketing shorthand meaning the vendor performed seven different tests, tested multiple samples, or used some combination of the two. And vendors don't necessarily mean the same thing when they say it. One company currently defines its 7X testing as identity, net peptide content, purity, sterility, endotoxins, heavy metals, plus two additional conformity vials. Another advertises seven checks including purity, content, conformity, endotoxins, microbial growth, heavy metals, and sterility. So before being impressed by the X, ask: WHAT ARE THE ACTUAL TESTS? Because seven meaningful tests and seven checkboxes are not necessarily the same thing. WHAT DO THE TESTS ACTUALLY TELL YOU? HPLC — PURITY High-performance liquid chromatography tells you how chromatographically pure the sample is. That beautiful 99.5% purity number everyone loves usually comes from HPLC. Important? Absolutely. But HPLC alone doesn't prove everything about a peptide. It does not independently establish sterility, endotoxin levels, absolute peptide content, or every possible contaminant. MASS SPECTROMETRY — IDENTITY Mass spec helps confirm that the molecule present has the expected molecular mass. Think of it this way: HPLC asks: How clean is this sample? Mass spec asks: Is this actually the molecule we're expecting? Those are two different questions. NET PEPTIDE CONTENT — HOW MUCH PEPTIDE IS ACTUALLY THERE? This one gets overlooked. A vial can have excellent chromatographic purity while the amount of actual peptide in the vial is different from the amount stated on the label.

100% agree, always make sure to read the COAs and verify them with the lab instead of just going for what is advertised on the web page 🫶🏼
