New shop vs old shop
Hi everyone, I started my Etsy shop about 5 weeks ago but when setting up I used an old account I set up 7 years ago so my shop said 7 years old on it. I listed 3 listings a day religiously then at 63 listings I paused as I started to get discouraged from having no views what so ever even after I trialed Etsy ads for a few days. I realised it’s probably from the fact that Etsy thinks my shop is 7 years old, has no sales and no reviews therefore it’s probably not pushing my listings. I’ve set up a new shop and will try listing about 20 listings to see whether that might show a change in views as surely I’m not wrong in thinking after 5 weeks you’d expect to see at least something?? Suggestions/ opinions welcome as although I appreciate it might take a few months to see sales but I’d at least expect to see like 10 organic views in 5 weeks.

These are the style of prints I do so I’d like to think that the views aren’t from terrible designs and mock ups

@Helena Herridge yes you’re 100% right. I think I got my answer now to be honest as in the last 24 hrs and with only 3 listings I got my first view which is something I got in 5 weeks on my old shop with way more listings so seems to be that was the reason for the slow growth. Let’s hope I can now regain some confidence with the process 😊

I personally get Claude to write me a prompt to then put into Gemini to generate the image. I have recently got Midjourney but I just can’t seem to click with it so I think I’ll go back to Gemini
Exporting images from printshrimp
Hi, new to this so please bear with me. To try and get my head round things, I have just loaded 12 images onto the portal and allowed integration with Esty. Is there a way to export the image files to Etsy

Welcome! So the way Print Shrimp works is it allows you to upload your designs onto the platform so then when you upload the same designs onto Etsy they will match the two together when you get a sale. To do that you need to ensure that the SKUs are the same on PS and Etsy otherwise you might need to manually do it as it can’t match them. So although you’ve uploaded designs onto PS you’d need still upload them to Etsy yourself and in the listing name the SKU what you names it on the platform on PS. Hopefully that helps and isn’t too confusing😊
Newbie
Good morning from a very warm and sunny Lincolnshire, UK. Im just starting my Etsy journey. My style is mainly cottagecore, coquette style with a Vintage twist. Im currently trying to get my first collection up on Etsy and link with Printshrimp. My question is, do I upload to Etsy first with all the SKUs there and printshrimp will auto pick these up or do I manually need to do both ? Thanks Em.

Heyy, ahh exciting!! I started a month ago and unless someone tells me otherwise I believe you have to do both manually and make sure they match identically or when you receive orders PS won’t pick it up as a match. If you save your images as the SKU name you want to use you can bulk upload them to PS and they will name them what your image is called. Hopefully that made some sense 😂

@Leilani Wrenley ahh glad I could help! No to be honest has been quite frustrating as I listed 63 posters and just nothing not even views. I’ve then realised I used my old shop that’s 7 years old so I think it’s stopped Etsy showing my listings due to it being old and having no sales or reviews so must think it’s a dormant shop. I’ve just set up a new one to see if that’s any help so will feed back in a few weeks if that’s helped it somehow 😊

@Amelie Rau I think it is valid as realistically it’s down to her not liking stuff. You provided the print and frame as listed so there’s no fault from your side as it was as described
