Hi everyone! I just getting started with Etsy but I having problems of how to upload my product to the shop and problem with image and prinshrimp , does anyone happened the same?

If there’s an error that comes up when trying to upload an image into Print Shrimp it’s usually because your image isn’t the required size so you need to resize it to be an A type size to be able to upload it

Newbie, need advice on payments etc
So i've had brief experience with POD a few years ago with t-shirts etc, am i right in thinking that once i receive an order on etsy i then have to pay for the print myself on print shrimp? sorry for basic question, but that could be a stumbling block to some people i guess, especially with bills to pay etc lol thanks in advance

Yes that’s right so you will receive a sale on Etsy and then it should link through to Print Shrimp so it’ll bring up your order. You then double check it’s the correct print etc and the customer details before paying for it. Unfortunately there is a backlog of the fact that you can’t get the money off Etsy immediately so you have to wait until whenever they pay you which you can set to weekly

does anyone know any good ai platforms they use to generate images for posters that are either free or offer a free trial. I preferably want to test the AI first before getting into a paid monthly subscription.

Gemini is great. It’s free until you’ve used up the daily limit but you can get a decent amount generated with the daily limit amount

New shop vs old shop
Hi everyone, I started my Etsy shop about 5 weeks ago but when setting up I used an old account I set up 7 years ago so my shop said 7 years old on it. I listed 3 listings a day religiously then at 63 listings I paused as I started to get discouraged from having no views what so ever even after I trialed Etsy ads for a few days. I realised it’s probably from the fact that Etsy thinks my shop is 7 years old, has no sales and no reviews therefore it’s probably not pushing my listings. I’ve set up a new shop and will try listing about 20 listings to see whether that might show a change in views as surely I’m not wrong in thinking after 5 weeks you’d expect to see at least something?? Suggestions/ opinions welcome as although I appreciate it might take a few months to see sales but I’d at least expect to see like 10 organic views in 5 weeks.

These are the style of prints I do so I’d like to think that the views aren’t from terrible designs and mock ups

@Helena Herridge yes you’re 100% right. I think I got my answer now to be honest as in the last 24 hrs and with only 3 listings I got my first view which is something I got in 5 weeks on my old shop with way more listings so seems to be that was the reason for the slow growth. Let’s hope I can now regain some confidence with the process 😊

I personally get Claude to write me a prompt to then put into Gemini to generate the image. I have recently got Midjourney but I just can’t seem to click with it so I think I’ll go back to Gemini
