@Jan Ibbott Thanks for your help Jan. I have had my shop open for a couple years (however only just really started to use it properly) and there are no funds held or anything. Ive looked into it further and it seems to be very common that the payout and net amount dont match. However, from what I have now researched, it seems to be that the net profit is correct (as this accounts for all the deductions, as its net) however this is done per calendar month whereas the payout is on a different timescale. Over a year this should balance out (hopfully). Advice I have been given says: "The easiest way to think of it is, net profit = your sales minus Etsy fees, marketing, postage costs etc. for the time period you’re viewing. Payout/deposit = the money that is actually available to be sent to your bank at that point. They often won’t match because some recent sales may still be pending/not yet available for deposit, and your payout timing may cover a different period to the Net Profit figure. Etsy also deducts things like fees, refunds and taxes from the available balance before paying you".

@Jon Roberts I have my first stall in Sept so not 100% sure how it will go. However, I have prepared a couple A3 portfolios with 1 of each print. I used a local printer company (as this is for display only) so that I can demonstrate the prints. Then my plan is if someone wants to purchase, they order with me and its sent out the usual way using the etsy platform connected with Square and printshrimp. I have set up square (sell in person) and linked it to etsy so it has the full inventory available when you sell in person - all you do is select the item they want and order this way, they pay then etsy automatically account for any sales in your totals as well. This way, there is no need to carry stock. Coming up to xmas, I intend to go to a mixture of local markets to test it out, although aim for etsy online to be my main source of selling.

@Curt Howett thanks so much. A couple of them where from family or friends who made a purchase. I would suggest this is initally helpful for the reviews and seen others across skool/other advice platforms suggest simialr. However, the other ones where just from other customers - I hadnt asked them. My most recent was a line drawing of a cat and some text and sold in the US which I was really surpised to get a review for!! I think Etsy sends an automatic email asking people for reviews when they make a purchase.

@Graham Eagle thanks so much, i did think it must be more complicated than just not being ableto use one word. I was hopeful that not using any colours, branding etc and just a generic image would be sufficent however, it appears that the word becomes trademarked if when viewing the poster/ad/item it would become connected to the advertised tournament at Wimbledon, as youve set out- all rather complicated! I will certainly be avoiding from now on. Thanks for your help!

@Steve Kayser It is all a little confusing I find. I was using Upscayl however I found it had a watermark on it and I couldnt really tell the difference. I also found it an extra layer of faff to go through. Ive been generating any AI images and upscaling those within the platform e..g midjourney and then just exporting into canva then using canva to increase the quality (hopfully now correctly following @Samantha White 's help!

@Mihai Volintiriu Thanks - there seems to be a lot of conflicting info about this across different posts. @Tom Beeston @Max Murray please could you confirm what would be best? In one of @Tom Beeston videos he talks about just upscaling creatively in midjourney and then adding into canva - no other process. I did a test print with upscalr x4 as well as not using upscalr and just adding into canva after upscaling creativly in midjourney and I couldnt see any difference (still learning, and just trying to understand)!
