I went to 6 local businesses and pitched an actual service for the FIRST time in my life.
This taught me a lot. I went into yesterday hoping to get a booking, but I didn’t. Regardless, I walked into 6 businesses, talked to the owners, pitched my offer, and pushed through the nerves. By the 6th conversation, my confidence and speaking skills had improved significantly. No booking this time, but I gained experience—and that’s a win. 💪

@Lakshya Pandey Yeah ikr lol.Youre right though, this has opened up more opportunities, so when we call i’ll mention about referring me to her employer. The dashboard has connection settings (for now, instagram & calendar.), adjustability with her service/pricing/buffer times, appointment info, etc. It shows reoccuring clients + the option to manually add a client. It’s pretty cool, the first build I’ve seen. But yes a case study + testimonial would be very helpful, she is a recent graduate from nail school and could refer me to many of her peers, needing similar services… 👀👍

@Walter Chikwanha Through introduction, and just earning the conversation to OBTAIN that data/info needed for the service they need.
We booked a meeting in 20 minutes (on camera)
Hey everyone, 20 minutes. That's all it took for Josh and Jamie to walk into a local business, start a conversation about AI, and book a meeting with a potential client. And they filmed the entire thing. As part of our email series on how to get clients, Josh wanted to prove how simple it really is to go out and find AI clients. No cold emails. No LinkedIn posts. No cold calling. They grabbed a camera, walked down the street, and started talking to local businesses about AI. 20 minutes later, they had a meeting booked with a financial advisory firm. One warning before you watch: the video is raw. Very raw. That's the point. We want you to see what it actually looks like: walking in, pushing through the awkwardness, and coming out with a meeting booked. Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zraXWEigqU Now it's your turn...

@Jamie Patterson When I overcome this sickness - this weekend probably. Now I have to ask, should I be as direct when it comes to what I’m Offering, “AI”?

Lisa, I’m interested. I specialize in finding the actual business bottleneck first, then figuring out where AI/automation can eliminate the manual work and getting the implementation mapped out from there. What are you looking to implement? I’d be glad to take a look.
Do you charge for diagnostics, or give it away free?
When a potential client says "come take a look at our business", I've seen a lot of agency owners spend hours mapping their processes, finding the opportunities, scoping the build... completely free. Then hope the proposal lands. For us its different. Discovery work is the most valuable thing we do. It's the part clients actually can't do themselves. So where do you sit right now? Free discovery to win the deal, or paid diagnostics? Interested to hear where you all land before the upcoming live event. For my first ever diagnosis about a week ago, I hadn’t charged my personal friend. It showed me how this model really works. I’m thinking after my next 4-9 we start charging a small fee for finding what’s wrong/losing them money. 💪 Let’s have a great day brothers and sisters.
First real automation audit in the books.
Just finished my first real discovery/audit for a business owner and honestly it went way better than I expected. I was able to identify the pain points, quantify the problem, map the current workflow, figure out what the ideal system should look like, and turn everything into a builder-ready plan. I already have the report done, the demo is in progress with my builder, and we're now working toward showing her an actual version 1 working solution. Crazy to see this go from an idea, a real business problem, into a real system being built around her needs. Biggest lesson so far: don't sell AI. Find the problem first, then build the solution around it. Still early, but this feels like a big step.
