Recipe - Yoghurt Bowl With Collagen and Chocolate Top
Here’s a quick and exciting way to use collagen or protein powder! I want to show you all the different ways you can use these powders so that adding them to your daily routine is simple, easy and quick. 2 Serves Ingredients: - 1 1/2 cups Unsweetened Coconut Yogurt - 2 tbsps Maple Syrup - 1 tsp Cinnamon - 2 tsps Chia Seeds (or any other seeds) - 1/3 cup Dark Chocolate Chips - 20 grams Collagen Powder 1. In a bowl, combine the yoghurt, maple syrup, cinnamon, and chia seeds and collagen until smooth. Use the back of a spoon to smooth out the yoghurt into an even layer. 2. Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler or in 30-second intervals in the microwave. 3. Pour the melted chocolate onto the yoghurt and spread it out into an even layer. Refrigerate for one to two hours before serving. Enjoy! Let your imagination go wild here - next time use berries, fruits, nuts, nut butters etc

🥕 New in the recipe collection: Functional Juicing!
As a naturopath and nutritionist I see juicing as a quick and delicious way to add a variety of colourful and purposeful plant nutrients + antioxidants to your diet. We can't eat everything in one day or in one week so juicing can provide a concentrated dose of nutrient top up and serve a very specific purpose. So, in other words, I don't look at juicing as just a yummy drink, but as a clever way to support our health with carefully selected ingredients and specific benefits in mind. Why I like juicing: - Increases nutrient intake: A convenient way to obtain a variety of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and other beneficial plant compounds in a concentrated form. - Expands our food variety: Often we would use different fruits, vegetables, garden herbs and superfoods that we don't eat that often, such as pomegranate, parsley and leafy greens. - Supports specific health goals: Clever combinations provide nutritional support for immune function, cardiovascular health detoxes, fluid retention, constipation and antioxidant protection and so much more. - Less fibre, quicker nutrient availability: Removing most of the fibre can allow nutrients to be absorbed better. I've organised the collection by their potential benefits, including detox and cleansing, immune support, inflammation, cardiovascular health and antioxidant support etc. You'll also find the benefits of individual ingredients outlined in each recipe. You don't need to juice every day, but if you're working towards a particular health goal, these recipes give you plenty of options to support your body through live and potent nutrition. Have fun exploring, experimenting and discovering some new favourites! The weather is warming up and I can feel how juicing is calling me :) Have you got your favourites?
