BIG NEWS on Skool | the Axe Verdict
finally, we got something other than GB 😜 💥 BIG NEWS: Skool introduced native reviews! but please don't run deleting your profiles elsewhere, continue reading. ⚠️ UPDATE: i just realized that every community you left a review, has a link in that review, and when ppl click and join that community, i think they will be marked "Skool Network" and Skool will get 30% if GB is turned on 🤔 ℹ️ few things to note about reviews: - you can edit or delete the review that you've left. GOOD! - you can only leave 1 review per community. i can live with that - because you can edit your previous review. - your reviews are gonna be shown on your profile. so, if you are toxic and like to poo-poo on ppl, it will be visible. - owners and admins cannot leave reviews for their community - you can leave a review only after 30 days. make sense. - only paying RECURRING members can leave reviews (not free, not one-off). this sucks if your model is not MRR driven. - you can start leaving reviews and collecting reviews, but they will not be shown to NON-members. Skool wants to collect some reviews, and slowly turn them on (testing first), so that it does not damage your conversion rates. SMART! - if you offer incentives for review (courses, discounts, lollypops - Sam's words, not mine), you will get a BIG RED warning on your about page. this one is a bit shady for me... like, how would Skool know? are they checking DMs? posts inside my community? what about confidentiality? hm🤔 - more updates for this feature is coming. so, i hope they fix some of the things e.g. one-off paying members leaving a review now, the big question - should you focus on Skool reviews only now or not? thanks to Matt (founder of ProveWorth platform) who explained it very well in the video - go and check it out if you are member, if not - join his community, cause it worth it!

@Roberto Srpak 1000%. not only your free members can leave reviews there. but the more active your proveworth page is, the better AI/Google search will push it to ppl searching for relevant topics. make sense?

@Roberto Srpak thank you! truly appreciate it, Roberto!
The tool stack I’d use to build a community from zero
I’ve been thinking about how much easier community building gets when you separate the growth strategy from the actual day-to-day execution. There are usually a lot of moving pieces: Content ideas. Member onboarding. Engagement prompts. Resources and templates. Tasks and follow-ups. Tracking what’s actually working. And when you're doing all of that alongside a day job or running a business, it’s easy for community building to become another full-time job. A simple stack I’d use: - ChatGPT / Claude — brainstorming content ideas, welcome sequences, engagement questions, and community resources. - Canva — creating simple visuals and templates for posts and resources. - Loom — recording quick tutorials, walkthroughs, or lessons without spending hours editing. - Notion — organizing the content calendar, resources, ideas, and community documentation. - Floment — keeping the execution side together with projects, tasks, progress updates, community, and AI assistance. The important part isn't having a giant tech stack. It's having a system where you can go from: “I need to grow this community” → “Here’s what I’m doing today.” That could mean publishing one useful post, welcoming new members, following up with someone who commented, or creating the next resource. Small actions compound pretty quickly when you actually stay consistent with them. For those of you building a community right now, what part takes the most time, getting the first members, creating content, or keeping people engaged?

i have a very similar tech stack, less Floment + doubling down on Claude Cowork for execution. i am using Claude Design way more.. and actually considering removing Canva subscription from the stack. one more tool i use is Kit - for email subs and sending. also, Zoom and Calendly to schedule and execute calls outside Skool.

If you joined this community, you’re not a consumer. You’re an action taker. Most people talk about building a community. You decided to build one. 👉🏻 So first things first: TAKE ACTION! STEP 1. Introduce yourself in the comments here: - Who you are - The outcome you want in 30 days - Your current stage (idea / validating / building / live) . PLS USE the poll or in the comment STEP 2. Do NOT Launch Yet (If You Haven’t) If you haven’t created your Skool community, pause. Action does not mean rushing. Start with Day 1 inside the Classroom and move in order. Clarity → Launch. STEP 3. Questions so far? Post them here or as a separate post in the Q&A category. Or in the relevant step. Public questions help everyone move faster. The rules are simple: - There are no stupid questions - The only stupid questions are those not asked No silent observers here. You joined because you want results. Let’s begin.

Three of the Six Took the Year
six people came into Community Income Mastermind this week. five joined, one upgraded. three of the six took the annual 🤩 that's not a coincidence, and it's worth explaining, because it's the last useful thing i can tell you before prices change tomorrow. WHO TAKES THE YEAR? - people who've been at this for a while - they've already lived through the month where nothing happened - so they stopped expecting the fast version, they know it is gonna take some time before they see the results THIS TAKES LONGER THAN ANYONE TOLD YOU - getting to $5k+ per month is gonna take months - not days. not weeks. not "one funnel away." - it might be less than 12 months. i hope it is less than that. but if you get your expectations low, everything else is gonna be a pleasant surprise WHY ANNUAL MAKE SENSE - obviously, you save sh*t ton of money 💰 - pay monthly and you'll judge this in 30-day chunks. that's just what monthly billing does to your brain. - you'll hit day 28 of a slow month, decide it isn't working, and cancel two weeks before the thing you started in month one starts to move. annual isn't me squeezing more out of you. it's me removing that decision. THE SIMPLE MATHS - annual is $197 today. monthly is $37, so the year pays for itself at five and a half months. - tomorrow annual is $497. so today $197 buys you a year. tomorrow it buys you two months. whatever you join at is your price for as long as you keep the subscription running. if you're genuinely sure you'll be done in three months, take the monthly. no shame. but if you are in this for the long run, take the year and stop counting. ➡️ join Community Income Mastermind $197/year (or $37/m). prices change tomorrow, 12pm Jerusalem time; that's 10 am London, 5 am New York.. 7-day free trial still there, cancel anytime. p.s. this is post 7 in a series of 8. last one tonight. p.p.s. glad to have @Marc Green part of the CIM crew

@Vladimir Belokapov thanks, Vladimir. actually, post coming up about switching to annual to existing members with a sweet offer 🍦 not only for cash purposes (which is good), but for commitment and consistency of the group. everyone wins with that

Nobody's Buying? Let's Solve It!
that's the sentence i hear most from people who've done everything right. the community exists. people joined. some of them even post and comment. and then nothing happens, and you start wondering "what's the problem?" that's September's theme inside Community Income Mastermind, and it isn't a random topic i picked. in Community Income Mastermind we focus on TRAFFIC, ENGAGEMENT, and MONETIZATION: - you can't monetize a room nobody's in. that's Traffic. - you can't monetize a room that's silent. that's Engagement. - and when both of those are working and still nobody's buying, that's Monetization. September is that third one. SEPTEMBER in Community Income Mastermind: - week 1, the webinar. TOO GOOD TO BE FREE. - week 2, two workshops. we build it together. run twice, timezone friendly. - week 3, no events. you're building it. i keep you accountable. - week 4, two hot seat / Q&A calls. also run twice to accommodate for time zones. plus some productivity sessions i'm adding, to help you actually execute. join if you can, no drama if you can't. ➡️ join Community Income Mastermind for $37/m until 1st Sep (going to be $97/m) with 7-day free trial first. cancel anytime. p.s. this is post 4 in a series of 8. p.p.s. glad to have @Vladimir Belokapov part of the CIM crew.
