Merry Christmas and Happy productive and prosperous New Year everyone. I have a goal for next year => find a new job that suits me better, makes me financial stable and gives me the feeling of fulfilment and makes the world a better place. I am planning to write a post on LinkedIn to reach all of my connections instead of only recruiters but I am afraid it will affect my relationship with the current employer. Is this ethical correct? What is the best approach? Putting a sign "open to work" is a better option? Doesn't it look like you are desperate? Although kind of I am. Any tips?

Failing easy tech interview
Hello everyone Just wanted to share, I am pretty much 99 % sure that I failed one of the easiest tech interview. I still feel stupid, frozen and stumble during live sessions even if I have to touch my tech assignment code and do some modifications that are asked by company guys. Some kind of fog in my brain and looks like I am a random guy that never dealt with tech world before. I really feel ashamed that after 5 years of experience nothing has changed when it comes to such moments. Have anyone experienced that?

Thank you for the replies and support. Clear thinking and reasoning are indeed blocked if you have some judges around you. It is more frustrating if you know that you could have nailed it without any issues. I will try to recuperate within couple of days. I just liked the job and the way they work besides that I am quite desperate to change my current job which also does bad service to my well-being. Maybe failure is a consequence of it Will see what tomorrow bringsπŸ™

Once more, thank you for all messages. Yesterday I received official rejection letter with banal words and phrases. But now I think it happened for the best, I realised that I not my company and people where employer does not make you feel comfortable at tech interview and one person laughed at my answer although she misheard and misinterpreted my words. Looks unprofessional to me even if I'd say total rubbish you should not behaviour in such way knowing how much stress and pressure candidates already have All in all, good to know that you can face such people and will try to be mentally stronger next time
CS degree
Did it become a prerequisite on the market to land a new job? After several calls with recruiters seems like companies are hunting for people with a degree in the field. And sceptical about self-taught developers and bootcamp alumni. Any thoughts on that?
