Hey Community! Guess Who’s Back Full Steam Ahead (Finally!)
Remember when I announced I was launching our community building program? Well, the universe decided to throw me a “Welcome to Entrepreneurship” obstacle course. Let me catch you up! Plot Twist #1: Eye Surgery Right out of the gate, I needed emergency eye surgery. Nothing says “I see my vision clearly” like literally needing to fix your vision, right? That set me back several weeks, and I’m still doing follow-ups. But hey, at least now I can see all the opportunities ahead more clearly! Plot Twist #2: The Great Tech Crash of 2025 Then my computer said “I quit.” My iPad followed suit. And my phone? It joined the rebellion. All three decided to retire at the same time. I’m convinced they had a group chat planning their exit strategy. But here’s the silver lining: I now have brand-new tools, new computer, new iPad, new phone, all ready to launch into 2025 (and crushing it in 2026!). Sometimes you need a fresh start with fresh equipment! Plot Twist #3: Leveling Up My Wheels My manual wheelchair and I have been partners for years but my shoulders and wrists started filing formal complaints. So I’m transitioning to a power chair. Is this a setback? Nope. It’s an upgrade. It’s accommodation. It’s smart entrepreneurship. Why This All Matters Every single one of these challenges is exactly what I’ll be sharing with YOU—my community of parents with children with disabilities and adults with disabilities who are ready to build businesses in the digital marketing space? Because here’s the truth: • We WILL need proper equipment and accommodations • Technology WILL fail us at the worst times • Our bodies WILL require adjustments as we age or as our conditions evolve • And we keep going anyway This is what entrepreneurship looks like in the real world, especially our world. We don’t wait for perfect circumstances. We don’t depend on others to make it happen for us. We adapt, we invest in what we need, and we build businesses that work WITH our lives, not against them.
