The hardest healthy habit to stick to when you are doing it alone is abstaining from self sabotage. The root of self sabotage is an unhealthy mindset. This way of thinking facilitates being comfortable with repeated negative habits/patterns. An unhealthy mindset produces unhealthy thoughts which influences unhealthy actions. This cycle of events invite unchanged thought processes that activate unhealthy triggers, including lack of motivation, lack of accountability, lack of consistency, and result in unfavorable outcomes. The solution: partnership- having a support, someone to cheer you along the way, even if that means holding your hand every step of the way- kind words of encouragement can make a world of difference.
