[ROAST MY LESSON]: It's part of what I want to talk about in my upcoming YouTube video. No intention to CTA anything for now. And this is not the oppening or closure idea, nor the literal script I'll use, I just want to validate the ideas behind this specific thought. You know what's fun? Chasing trends! Checking out that new platform, that new tool, trying to get that magical goose that will give you a golden egg. You create an account, check the courses and start the hustle for as long as that hype is high. But that's like lottery, most of us won't get anywhere doing that, be it here at skool or any other platform. You know what will get you somewhere? Buillding a business. But business building is not as fun as chasing hype. You gotta do the same things everyday, you gotta build a brand, you gotta outreach, sell, refine your offer and figure out a lot of moving parts: marketing, customer support, legal compliance and taxes. And you wil problably be doing it for months, sometimes years without seeing any finantial results, just untill you figure out how to present an offer in a format that people will pay for. And than you will have to figure out how to deliver it. And that you're going to have to figure out how to support the whole opperation so it doesn't collapse. So it's not fun, but this is the way to do it. Want to make money? Get busy building a business. Online money? Online business. The bright side? You don't need to do it alone. That's why we're here at skool.

I'm using AI to edit videos. It's a local instalation using open source software that has no costs and requires no subscriptions besides the one that I use to run the agents, ChatGPT/Codex in my case Final version will be much better than that but I already see a lot of potential. This is just the first part of the video I'm making to reopen my YouTube channel. It took 7 miinutes to edit this cut that is less than 3. Took away some background noise, added subtitles, did some cuts with pauses and silence and added b roll. Trying to teach how to add background music but it sucks at making good choices. So I'm having to teach it. Stupid bad taste bot. Improvements I'm working on: - B-rollss with more personality and spliting the screen instead of just cutting the shots - Some discrete sound effects and camera work - A good taste in music - Subtitles that look better What else should I be trying to improve? I spent about 90 minutes with a business development leader at a solar sales company. He'd been told to build $50M in sales, and instead of more people, he was handed an AI tool license. So we set up a project, defined his dream outcome for one week, and told the AI to follow the Job Card approach. That means one job, one responsibility, and one budget per skill. Then we split the work into separate jobs: find leads, gather info on each person, draft outreach, prep him for each call, and draft follow-up content. At first he gave it way too much at once. He didn't know how to prompt it yet, and honestly that's where most of us start. By the end he had a working lead-scout skill. He left with 4 leads that had everything he needed to make calls and check that the skill actually works. Within about an hour he had a setup he could keep improving toward a first-week win.
