I did a little testing on video models available to me...
There are a lot to choose from but I have been chewing through credits quite quickly on Kling 2.6 and that's a moderately priced one. The wall I have hit with all of those tested so far is that there's no telling the AI that an Ork's tusks are part of the lower jaw and should move in conjuction with it. :D So I may have to admit defeat and drop the tusks. I've also been playing with LTX 2.0, the open source version. It's written to understand cinematography instructions instead of "prompt trickery" so you instruct it as though you were passing on the information to a real camera crew. So the 2nd video is after quite a lot of testing of that, twiddling the knobs and flicking all the switches underneath after reading the documentation... That said, it's done its fair share of dumb things with little more than a seed change. ;)

Your characters look cool! I will check LTX but I'm afraid I will need a new machine.
Anyone else trying offline/local workflows?
I had abandoned the idea of animating in 3D as too time consuming against what I have available a while ago but Mark sending me the emails about this course made me think well... perhaps it's possible. 🤔 My goal was to see if I could apply the course without the big subscription costs though. I have a busy job and life and time for tinkering with animation is limited and sporadic. Subscriptions make great sense if tie using them a lot but become a bind if you're doing something in the background as what would realistically be a 3rd hobby? 🫣 I'm using Comfy UI which means I can buy Comfy Cloud credits that don't expire to access some things like Nano Banana that the course seems to hinge on. Obviously this adds an additional level of complexity but I did check with Mark before signing up if this was viable. Is there anyone else trying this route?

I am new to all of this. Just discovered ComfyUI (as many other things) but definitely want to explore this route to see how far you can go. I will let you know anything I can find out. Greetings!
Same model, different platform, different results
I've come to realize a weird and annoying thing about AI video creation. At first I thought it was just random error, but it is so repeatable that I realize it's real. The exact same model can and does behave differently in different platforms. Naturally, each platform produces different results due to different random seeds. But I'm talking quality issues. I mostly use Kling 2.6 Pro because it is a great combination of economical, versatile, and decent quality. But using it under OpenArt quite consistently gives better results than using it under Galaxy. The lighting is better and more consistent. Consistent focus is better. I even often get multiple repeated frames under Galaxy, which I've never seen happen in OpenArt. Weird and annoying.

@Mark Burrows I also noted some differences but did not know what was going on. New to all of this. Thanks, that is great info!
For anyone who attended this last Live Class today
Tell me, if you could kindly tell me 1. From 1 to 10, how confident did you feel you could be in succeeding in YouTube (meaning getting tons of views and building an audience)? 2. After the techniques I taught, how confident do you feel now from 1 to 10? 3. Why? I am interested, this is feedback for me for the process I want to teach in the YouTube Growth Course @Princess Nwanwigwe @Cathy Ferguson @Arlene Dilworth @Mb Stevens @JoyGenea Schumer @Helene J @Thomas Jennings @G. @Mark Diaz Hello, sorry to answer so late, but been busy finishing some work. Thank you for the class! I was not expecting that! I was very illuminating on how to use AI, I really have to rethink my methods for everything, this changes everything. I think I am also in the 5 -> 7 range. But, definitely on researching the market, it skyrocket!
My first finished AI Animation Cartoon
Hey everyone. Today I finished my first AI Cartoon. This is a historical event about my great-grandparents. I tried to follow Mark's instructions as best I could, but sometimes I had to get a feel for things first, so it got a little mixed up at times. The Video is in German. https://youtu.be/aGT_by1Avng?si=2rAfc53eCdgHOghDhttps://youtu.be/aGT_by1Avng?si=2rAfc53eCdgHOghD @Mark Diaz I admire your enthusiasm and thank you so much for your courses.

I love animation. I have always wanted to create my own animated shorts. Love character design. I been studying drawing and artistic anatomy lately.
