I am torn about my roped edge - the yarn is beautiful wool from Gotland, Sweden, but it is handspun, and so the thickness varies a lot, especially as it is being held double. Variation is from fingering to worsted, if I had to guess. I picked my entire color palette to try to use that yarn, and though gotland wool will loosen and drape a lot when blocked, I am thinking it will be too thick in the body, but it is such a tough decision. Experimenting is so fun!

I like my colors, but feel a bit of a bore when I see some of your choices. I’ll have to do another one with bilder colors.
