Hi everyone! my name is Erika Belmonte. I’m a Brazilian English teacher with over 25 years of experience. I currently live in Iowa, and over the past decade, I’ve been sharing free English content across social media, reaching over 500,000 followers and teaching more than 4,000 students through my online program. But in 2022, everything changed. After facing a serious health scare, I developed PTSD and went through a very dark period. For almost three years, I was mentally and emotionally drained. My company only survived because of the success we had built in the early years. My team is small and so was my strength. But in the past few months, I’ve felt like myself again. I’m back, stronger, and more determined than ever to make this comeback count. And yet... things are different now. I feel the market has changed. The way people buy has changed, at least in Brazil. Higher-ticket courses and big launches don’t convert the way they did back in 2020 (pandemic). And truth be told, I was never a great salesperson. My content always spoke for itself. I've always given, like, a lot. I taught with heart and helped thousands, and sales came naturally because of that. Now I’m learning what I never did before: How to craft offers. How to use psychological triggers. How to sell with strategy.. not just passion. I recently bought Offer Secrets from Russell Brunson, along with his trilogy of books. I’ve been studying them like crazy, day and night, while still running my business, creating content, supporting my students, and taking care of my 3-year-old son, my husband, and our home. It’s not easy, but when your mind is healthy, it feels like anything is possible.I know I can do this. I have a new launch coming on August 11, and I’m confident it will be a turning point. I want to help more people than ever before, especially those who feel stuck, unheard, or insecure when speaking English in meetings, at work, or while traveling. I know how life-changing English can be because it changed mine.
