At yoga today, it occurred to me that when I look in the mirror I don't see the glow, but when I see pictures taken of me the glow is there. I've been breaking contracts and cords all week long. I expect the glow will show up in my mirror soon.

Following your aligned signs in Human Design doesn’t usually feel big or obvious in the moment. It feels subtle, like a quiet nudge, that pulls you in a direction that doesn’t fully make sense yet. But when you follow it, something shifts. Doors open that weren’t there before. People enter your life at the exact right time. The path you thought you were on begins to change into something you never could have planned. And most of the time, it comes down to one decision. For me, that moment came when I thought I already had my life figured out. I was set on moving to Hawaii after an abusive relationship ended. At the time, I believed I was choosing a fresh start away from the hurt, but looking back, I can see I was really trying to run. I felt completely suffocated in the small town I was living in, like I had outgrown who I had been there but didn’t yet know who I was becoming. Around that same time, I was presented with the opportunity to meet Bobby. That definitely wasn’t part of the plan. But the moment we met, something in me shifted. For the first time in a long time, I didn’t want to run. I wanted to stay. Choosing that felt terrifying. It meant being vulnerable again after I had already been hurt. It meant not escaping my patterns, but actually facing them. It meant trusting something I couldn’t logically explain. But I followed it. That one decision changed everything. It led me to move across the country, leave education, get married, become a mom, and step into a completely different life. Now my family of three travels the country together, living a life that was never part of the original plan but feels deeply aligned with who we’ve become. And the wildest part is how simple that moment was. It came down to saying yes to going out with friends on a Friday night, when I could have gone home, gone to bed, and repeated the same cycle. That’s how alignment works. It doesn’t always look big in the moment, but it changes everything. ✨ Community Reflection
