Can psychedelics help you heal from trauma?
Yes they can! They can open up your mind & help you heal from the past trauma that you thought that you would never get over when used respectfully, safely & intentionally. The healing potential of psychedelics is truly so spectacular. When many of us started to go to therapy for our problems we were told that this is the way that we will always be & that we needed to be on medication to function. But the reality is this is not the truth, this is a lie that is told to us to keep us disempowered so we subscribe to modern mental health. In my personal experience, the modern mental health system can only bring you so far, but after that it keep you in purgatory, spinning around in circles of your suffering. The medications that they prescribed often create very negative side effects & being on them long-term does damage to your body mind & spirit. They disconnect you from who you are & they keep you from understanding your full potential. I spun around in circles never getting better for years & after my first psychedelic experience, I started to see things differently & I started to understand what I was capable of. I started to understand that I create my own reality & I got to make the choice of who I wanted to be. I realize that I didn't need to be on those medications that just made me feel numb & disconnected. I realize that there were medicines in this world that had been worked with for centuries, long before modern psychiatry and pharmaceuticals were created, that were actually conducive to real healing. These medicines help you get to the true root of the problem & they help you purge these energies out of your system so they no longer controlled you. Trauma is not a permanent chemical imbalance, it is energy that stores in the body. Trauma is memories that we hold onto & refuse to let go of. Psychedelics offer you the opportunity to let go of it all & become a new person. They allow you a true opportunities to grow, heal & change yourself but only if that's what you truly desire.

@Morganna Leigh oh my God, I agree 100%, the antidepressants were making me so much worse. And yes I have a whole new view of the world now. I'm so glad that I started this journey. It's just very isolating

@Morganna Leigh I agree it takes a very unique individual to jump on this path, but I'm so glad I did. It has definitely been life-changing in the most positive way possible
Can microdosing help with addiction?
Yes, microdosing is super beneficial when recovering from addiction. The thing is though, is that if you are currently still taking alcohol or hard drugs, taking a microdose is going to have no effect because your brain is already being affected by something else that is much stronger than a microdose. Even if you're taking something like a pharmaceutical medication, this will also dull down your ability to experience the medicine fully. If you're taking alcohol or hard drugs, or even on something like a pharmaceutical, all of these substances make it very hard for us to receive the full benefit of psychedelics. SSRI's attach to the same receptors as the psychedelic does. Mixing these substances long-term can be very detrimental to your brain. A lot of people who are taking other substances will often take microdoses & they'll say that nothing happens & that they needed a much higher dosage & it's not because the psychedelic is not working. It's because their brain is not clear enough. You really need to be as sober as possible when consuming these medicines. You are going to get the effect that you need from the medicine at the lowest possible dosage when you are clear of mind. Now, this isn't to say that you can't partake in cannabis if you find this is something that is useful for you. This medicine is not going to affect your microdosing at all. You may even find that microdosing actually helps you cut back on how much cannabis you consume. Although cannabis is not as damaging as alcohol & other types of hard drugs, you can still form a dependency on it & the overconsumption of it can be damaging for your brain. Microdosing gives your brain something else to attach to besides cannabis. Cannabis can often make you feel very foggy whereas microdosing does not. It makes you very clearheaded making it much easier to focus & stay productive. I have personally struggled with addiction & I understand how incredibly hard it can be to just cut it out cold turkey & the best & most effective thing that we can do is replace it with something that is healthier. Replacing a detrimental pattern in your life with a microdosing regimen isn't an instant fix but overtime you are gonna find that it is going to really benefit your life. It can help you to stop craving those substances altogether & finally move away from those patterns.

I want to say yes, I was very much an addict before I started my microdosing. Now I look at things so differently. I've been sober almost 3 years

@Morganna Leigh Yes it does. It gave me a whole new perspective on life and it makes me look at things so differently. I can't understand why I was getting high before now that my brain has changed. It's amazing it's going to do wonderful things for the world. I'm so glad that they're opening up the research again
