Hi! I'm Erica. I have a small homestead in Iowa. I have 2 Jersey milk cows and want to open a farm store selling soaps, breads, milk, eggs, freeze dried goodies, fruits, and veggies... and maybe even some crafts some day. I plan to build myself a small shed to turn into my little farmstand. I also plan to create a chicken tractor and greenhouse. I try to do everything DIY because I cant stand to think about paying someone else to do something I can do myself. I have learned a lot of skills from my dad over the years and there is not much I wont at least try to accomplish. Ive done electrical, plumbing, building, remodeling, mechnics, and have taught myself how to live on and run my little farm. I'm glad to be here. Thank you for having me!

@Roy Houston It definitely can't decide if its still winter or spring. But we got a few inches of rain that we needed badly so I am determined to not complain about it, lots of mud and all, since I put out $1200 of seed for pasture and hay ground this year so the rain is welcome for sure.
