A special shoutout to our guy @Michael LoCascio Sr for decanting some fragrances for me. It's my first time using this approach and I think I'm a fan. I picked up: Boss Bottled Bond No. 9 Chez Bond Versace Eros Flame PDM Greenley French Ave Vulcan Feu What impressed me most was Vulcan Feu because of my previous experience with it. I got to smell it at my local shop but I never put it on skin. I COMPLETELY changed my mind about this scent and I'll be checking out the OG though I won't be paying its price tag. Again, thank you @Michael LoCascio Sr

It’s been rainy and gloomy here all Long Island. So I figured a nice dark aromatic scent fit the bill. A buddy of mine recommended this and I’m so glad he did. It’s very similar to YSL La Nuit. Great performance and I would highly recommend it plus side is the bottle is very nice. One of my favorites in recent acquisitions.

Which Creed?
So! I’m buying a Creed fragrance next week. Before I do, here’s a few questions for the group. 1- Given the choice of Virgin Island Water or Wild Vetiver, which would you go for? 2- Given the entire line to choose from, which would you buy?

@Raymond Reeves This is my answer. I’m also partial to Green Irish Tweed.

The Scent Profile (Notes) Bling is a Woody Aromatic/Amber fragrance that is notably synthetic but "sparkly" in its execution. Top Notes: Bright, crystalline Citruses (primarily grapefruit and bergamot). Middle Notes: Flower Prism and Stardust (these are fantasy notes designed to smell airy, floral, and slightly metallic or "shimmering"). Base Notes: Velvet Woods and Creamy Vanilla. Is it a Dupe? Longevity: Above average. You can expect 7–9 hours on skin. It is an Eau de Parfum (EDP) that clings well, especially to clothes. Projection: It starts very loud and "sharp" (almost harsh) for the first 30 minutes, then settles into a moderate, powdery scent trail. Occasion: This is a "statement" fragrance. It’s best suited for evening events, date nights, or when you want to be noticed. It has a "dressed up" vibe that might feel a bit much for a casual gym session or a grocery run. Season: It’s versatile but shines in Fall, Winter, and Spring. The vanilla/wood base might become too cloying in high-heat summer humidity. Quick Verdict: If you like the "sparkly" citrus openings of modern designers but want a creamy, slightly mysterious dry down, it’s a solid pick. If you prefer natural-smelling, airy scents, the synthetic "stardust" notes might be a bit polarizing for you.
