Talking with a downswing
I think that's what Isaiah called it. Why do I ever doubt this guy? I have been using it with my internet leads and lo and behold, Isaiah is correct! On a group coaching call a couple of weeks ago we role played it and it felt so unnatural and I didn't like it, but I have been trying it and people are responding to it on the quick follow ups better than my usual cheery greeting. Hopefully that one little tweak will add a few sales this year. Thanks, Isaiah!
Day 7 challenge
What i did well: Sent 52 texts starting at 530 this evening. I received 3 replies - all said they aren't doing anything this year. So that felt like a bust. I'll try again tomorrow earlier in the day to a similar profile. Met an investor cash buyer who will be a real option for sellers. I approached him when I saw the "We buy houses" sticker on his car in the parking lot behind a townhouse listing i had that was closing today. Challenges: spent a lot of time in the car without a plan to maximize phone calls and other texts. Made a choice to pay pickleball at 9pm instead of working on Day 7 challenge item. So ill make it up in the early am if I can get to sleep tonight!

@Isaiah Colton Did 100 more and got two "Maybe - Make me an offer" responses along with 7 unsubscribed (good riddance!). Will keep you posted.
Day 6 - Challenge Update
What went well: Have my text ready to send out from today's challenge. Sent out a buyer's agreement for signature. What could have gone better: didn't get my goal for contacts or appointments. Spent too much time with my admin working on tricking my CRM into letting me be able to send emails to more of the people in my database. Also spent a signficant time setting up my new hire. I feel like the 4th quarter is going really fast and I am running out of time to have everything I want set up to be set up for 2026. I won't worry about it - I will just keep plugging away getting 1% better everyday!
Day 3-5 Challenge
Day 3-5 Challenge Update - Day three was a Friday, and I had some other commitments during the day, so I spent some time over the weekend doing my non-negotiables. And I will say that Sunday evening between 4-6PM, I reached more people in two hours than I do usually in a whole week. So that was exciting. I continue to go through the challenge items, and I am incorporating them in my lead gen strategy. So for my final day of the week, I had 23 outreaches, 8 conversations, 1 appointment and 1 presentation. Are we going to be adding signed buyer agreements to the scorecard?

Day 2 challenge update
Here’s my Day 2 update.My goals are 4 conversations, 2 appointments, and 1 presentation per day. Today I finished with 2 conversations and 0 appointments. There were a few solid wins. I started early with exercise and walking the dog, which helped me follow the structure I set up yesterday. I also spent extra time with my team on conversation practice, which was helpful even though it pushed my prospecting back a bit. Where I slipped was not planning who I was going to call. That missing piece slowed me down and made it harder to get momentum. I also spent a two-hour block helping my newest team member get set up in our system. Looking back, I should have delegated that to my Director of Operations so I’m not the one doing data setup. Staying up too late last night caught up with me too. By the afternoon I was dragging and ended up taking a short nap just to reset. I made a final push at the end of the day to try to hit my numbers, but I came up short. The good news is that I’m seeing where the gaps are: better call prep, stronger delegation, and protecting my energy earlier in the day. I’m committed to making Day 3 more focused and more intentional.
