Hey everyone! The last couple weeks have been pretty rough for me with some big highs and deep lows. Some of those lows I found myself needing to reflect a lot and I came to the important awareness where healing, tenderness and discipline is needed because of recent experinces. This current Mercury Retrograde I've noticed some slivers of old anger rising to the surface especially when I came to learn unfortunate news regarding the health of a beloved family member. What has given me strength and grounding throughout this process has been writing (always) and finally making my soaps again. The herbs I felt intuitely guided to apply to the alchemical making of these soaps are: sweet orange oil, chamomile oil, and bits of passionflower, calendula, and some of my remaining supply of bobinsana. Something about this blend truly uplifted me at times but also made me feel held during the harder moments that came and went. The process of making them and even highlighting them now almost feels like pushing through and actively showing that I can be in the dance with my shadows rising and falling, head up and dipping down. I can be going through deep reflection, learning new things about my shadows, and still creating all at once when I'm taking my time in stillness then flowing with what comes after. 🕺🌊 The purple rose soap I like to think of as a cosmic mermaid rose since it features bobinsana which is a fantastic herb that helps in grief, heart opening, and lucid dreaming 🧜‍♀️ 🌹 The orange owl soap primarily features sweet orange and calendula for some energy boosting and wisdom🍊🦉 All with a dash of black lava salt, and made with colored mica powder that dispells anger especially 🙏🏼
