Baby it's cold outside...
Cold is relative to your area, it could mean 50 degrees in Florida or 10 degrees anywhere else. What's too cold for you? What's your go to favorite cold water bait?

Happy Thanksgiving and Black Friday
There’s some companies offering deep discounts for Black Friday. I wanted to share a few of the better ones I’ve seen. www.kistlerrods.com www.ecofishingshop.com www.robohawk.com Garmin has good discounts themselves.

Kayak or Boat, what’s your platform?
Starting to get a few members on here. I would like to see what ratio of kayak to boat owners are. Deciding where to fish and how are very different when I fish from a boat or kayak.

In my opinion it’s a tool, just like side scan, down imaging, etc. I remember my father going crazy when it was the “blip system” and down imaging was introduced “it was the end of fishing” at that time lolol I wish fish would jump in the boat like most think what happens. It’s a great tool for: - scanning structure/ledges to see activity - Watching lure retrieval which I think is why I use it. When I first got it I was way below or way on top of fish. Lure was nowhere near the right water column. - There is advantage of breaking down “dead water”. No fish move. - See how fish are seasonal staging - See if fish are feeding on bait balls etc Disadvantages - you could get stuck looking at screen for far too long with no fish. Have to change your style but it’s hard when you know they are there - Guntersville is my home lake. Grass lakes you won’t use much at all. (I use when I fish deeper water but in grass no way obviously) - it is lake dependent on when to use. Smallmouth lakes like my favorite Dale Hollow it’s fun, Kissimmee Chain not so much Again I could go on and on with positive/negative but all in all it’s a tool. I laugh when folks say people that don’t know how to fish use LiveScope (been fishing a very long time). Remind them on what my father said. I laugh when you catch a limit and first thing folks say is did you LiveScope them. Then I remind them it wasn’t used or plugged in and see their face. (Sorry my rant)
Let’s iron out some details.
What subject would you feel is most beneficial to your future success? I’m getting the structure lined out.

Is it wrong to say all of it lolol. Knowing lake breakdown and how to practice are so key in my eyes. There are many “secret areas” where some anglers find that are off the path and I wonder how they found “that spot”. Some is timing, some is transition and some is they found it in practice lolol Looking forward to engaging with yall. This year I am trying to do even more tournaments and increase my video capabilities which I am challenged😀
