Having good maths skills can be helpful when planning workouts from week to week because they allow me to organise the frequency, duration and number of exercises in a balanced way. For example, I can use calculations to decide how many days per week I should exercise, how many sets and repetitions of each exercise to include, and how to spread different types of activities across the week. This helps me create a structured routine without doing too much of one exercise or neglecting other areas of fitness. By using maths to track my progress and gradually adjusting the number of exercises or repetitions, I can make my workouts more organised, manageable and beneficial to me. Out of interest, what do you do to help to track your workouts?
