Hey everyone! 👋 Glad to be here
I’m Michael — I run a few Skool communities and local + niche groups, mostly around travel, connection, and community-led growth. I joined because I’m actively: - Tightening my Skool systems (onboarding, engagement, conversion) - Reducing notification chaos without killing momentum 😅 - Learning from people who are actually building, not just theorizing I’m especially interested in: - What’s working right now for organic Skool growth - Simple engagement systems that don’t require living online - Turning conversations into clarity (for members and creators) Happy to share what I’m testing, what’s breaking, and what’s working — and learn from everyone else doing the same. Thanks for having me here, Evelyn 🙌Looking forward to connecting with you all.

@Michael Johnson I should have added context. In most free communities such as this one, you will find spammers. They use the same comment on every post they post into. For example, the first comment on your post here. I have already seen this exact comment word for word. From 2 different profiles. As well as the second "mentor" comment. Check the profiles. This is the only thing they do. Take care.

@Michael Johnson Well yes I know there are many people here willing to help you, including me. But those two that I mentioned, it was about how many times I have seen those exact comments.

How can I learn about doing affiliate ads for Skool ?

@Jasmine Brooks You can create ads about your reasons for joining Skool and use your affiliate link in the ads to drive people to skool off your link.

@Jasmine Brooks No worries. any time.
Why “posting more” isn’t the answer
Most people don’t actually need to post more content. They need clearer content. If someone lands on your profile and can’t quickly understand who you help, what problem you solve, or why what you’re saying matters, they won’t take the next step. Even if you post every single day. Clarity builds trust. Trust creates momentum. Momentum creates results. That’s why some people post a few times a week and get conversations, while others post nonstop and hear nothing. It’s not about volume. It’s about alignment, clarity, and intention. If someone found your profile today, would they instantly know what you help with? What do you feel most confident about in your content right now, and what still feels a little unclear?

@Jennifer Turner you are speaking my language. Literally.

@Jennifer Turner I've spent over 25 years in business clarity. I even created my communities around this. It was never a "service" I provided. it was more of a lens in how I saw the world and business. But now I am teaching that. Took me 2 years to get it out of my head and into a book, now communities. So, you can imagine how proud I can get when I see someone recognize it's importance.
Two Weeks In!
Hi, everyone! I am a mom x 3, blogger x 3, content creator x (I lost count!), and overall someone who loves learning new things. I am also a night owl who typically goes to bed at 6am instead of waking up at that time. My first two weeks on Skool have gone by fast but that means I must be having fun, right?! My community is still in the "friends and family" stage but I am looking forward to meeting new people, setting the foundation, and building something great....together.

Brand New and Learning
Hi everyone - I'm brand new here and just learning about Skool and whether it will fit with my plans. I'm a professional instructional designer, with a lot of background in the corporate area. But I'm looking to start my own "thing" focusing on young adults (14+) to help them learn important life skills that they'll need to start planning their lives and get ready to get out there on their own. My Community is currently named "Life Skills with PrplJennifer." (https://www.skool.com/purple-jennifer-4304/about?ref=9b755986043b4c31b6850cbb3df9ba9c). My initial demographic will be parents of teens, homeschoolers, and young adults who are already out there but are finding out what they don't know. My courses will be professionally developed and available in a trackable LMS, but featured here. So I'll need to learn how things work in that area. Since I'm still learning, there isn't anything there yet, but I'd love to have some new members to join the chats and share your thoughts on what courses I should build. My first question for all of you is... what is one thing you wish you had learned more about before getting your first job, first apartment/home, going to college, etc.? As an example, one of the first courses I plan to write has a working title of "So You Think You Can Live on Minimum Wage."

@Jennifer Gildea Yes I know some have used it as both, but I am referring to the reason Skool was created and the culture of the platform. Im sure there could be some overlap with some communities. Let's connect. Love to see how you get on.

@Jennifer Gildea one more thing, you can expect Skool, because of the community, to give you your Level 1-4 data in real time. This is encouraged as part of "community."
