Cold Email Is Still Profitable
Cold Email Is Still Profitable But only if it reaches the inbox. Most people obsess over copy. Very few respect infrastructure. And here’s the truth: Inbox placement matters more than clever wording. If your email lands in spam, your “great copy” never gets read. 📩 Deliverability > Creativity Before optimizing messaging, I make sure the foundation is solid: ✔ Proper SPF configuration ✔ Correctly aligned DKIM ✔ Enforced DMARC policy ✔ Fully warmed sending accounts ✔ Controlled domain rotation ✔ Ongoing reputation monitoring Because outbound isn’t just marketing. It’s technical infrastructure. ⚙️ Engineered Infrastructure Wins When infrastructure is stable: • Inbox placement improves • Spam complaints decrease • Reply rates stabilize • Scaling becomes predictable When infrastructure is weak: • Random spam spikes • Volatile open rates • Burned domains • Campaign shutdowns One is controlled growth. The other is damage control. 🎯 The Strategic Perspective Cold email is still highly profitable in 2026. But it rewards operators — not spammers. The real edge today isn’t “better templates.” It’s engineered systems behind the scenes. Infrastructure first. Copy second. Scale third. If you’re running outbound right now — are you optimizing words, or protecting placement?
Cold Email Spam Words Are Overrated. Behavior Isn’t.
Everyone keeps asking me: “which spam words should I avoid?” Wrong question. Spam filters don’t panic because you wrote “free” or “guarantee.” They react to patterns. • Brand new domain blasting 500 emails • Zero replies • Heavy tracking pixels + 5 links • No warm-up history • Same template to 1,000 prospects That’s what kills campaigns. Inbox providers like Google and Microsoft don’t just scan vocabulary. They track sender behavior. Reputation > wording. Engagement > optimization hacks. Before rewriting your copy 10 times, ask: → Is my domain aged properly? → Am I sending gradually? → Am I optimizing for replies, not opens? → Am I tracking less, not more? Cold email in 2026 isn’t about avoiding words. It’s about earning trust. Fix behavior first. Deliverability follows.

@Fj Valencia Open rate tells you you reached the inbox. Reply rate tells you the message actually mattered.

Scaling Fast? That’s Why Your Domains Keep Dying.
Scaling Without Burning Your Domains Everyone wants to scale fast. More inboxes. More volume. More replies. But here’s what I’ve learned running outbound: Scaling isn’t about speed. It’s about control. Only Increase Volume When 3 Things Are Stable: 1️⃣ Reply Rate Is Consistent Not one good day. Not one lucky week. Stable replies over time = positive sender signals. If replies are volatile, scaling will amplify the problem. 2️⃣ Bounce Is Fully Controlled If bounce is creeping toward 4–5%, you don’t scale. You fix the list. Bad data + higher volume = reputation damage. 3️⃣ Spam Complaints Are Near Zero Even small spam signals compound when you increase volume. If inbox placement isn’t clean, scaling just speeds up domain death. ⚠️ The Mistake Most People Make They scale because they’re excited. Not because the data says it’s safe. Fast growth feels good short term. But ESP trust builds slowly — and breaks quickly. Google and Outlook reward consistency. Not aggression. 📈 My Scaling Rule If everything is stable for 10–14 days, increase volume gradually (10–20% max). Then monitor again. Scaling is earned. Not forced. Outbound is a reputation game. And reputation compounds — positively or negatively.

Azure inboxes 😮
Yo guys, what are your thoughts on Azure inboxes? Any insights would be great Cheers 🤙

Start with Google (more forgiving), then diversify into Azure once your process is stable. Horizontal scaling (more inboxes) > pushing volume on one provider.

@Luis Rosario Thanks!
Bypass phone verification?
Has anyone tried creating google mailboxes from their own google workspace account? When you're spinning up mailboxes from your own google workspace account, how do you sign in into mailboxes without phone number verification? I noticed every new mailbox I create on google workspace, when signing in, I get prompted to verify my phone number.

@Samyog Dhital If you add an admin, then the users under that admin won’t face verification problems.
