📌 Community Update: How Participation Works in Winning Your Way 📌
📈 Winning Your Way is an active system. This community works best when energy is moving, questions being asked, reflections being shared, progress being shown, even in small ways. To protect the focus, culture, and momentum of the community, we’re introducing a simple participation standard. 🤔 Here’s what that means: • We do not require specific schedules • We do not require perfect attendance • We do not require weekly task completion What we do require is visible participation. 📊 How participation is measured: - A member is considered active when they show at least one participation pulse within a rolling 14-day window. ✅ A participation pulse can be: • commenting on a weekly check-in • attending a call or watching the replay • submitting or partially submitting an assignment • posting a question, reflection, or update • responding when tagged by the team Any one of these counts. 🗒️ Why this exists: - This isn’t about pressure or punishment. - It’s about protecting an environment that supports growth, accountability, and alignment. When members stop participating entirely, the system can’t support them and it impacts the energy of the whole community. 🤷‍♀️ What happens if there’s no participation: - If no participation is recorded within 14 days, you’ll receive a simple check-in. - If inactivity continues, access may be quietly closed so space can be held for active families. You’re always welcome to reapply when the timing is right. This community is designed for families who want to stay engaged, even during busy seasons. If you ever feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to participate, say something. That’s participation too. We’re here to support progress, not perfection. 🤝

Happy Tuesday + Shoutouts to Our Builders 👏🏽
Happy Tuesday, everyone! I hope your week is off to a strong start. I wanted to take a moment to give a big shoutout to @Ryder Furtick-Williams , @Nicole Osibodu , @Ireland van der Pyl , @Mike Martin , @Olivia Cameron , @Taj Davidson , and @Michele Starr for consistently posting their assignments and homework this week and last week. You all are clearly taking this seriously and putting in the work to build your brands the right way. This kind of consistency and effort is exactly what leads to big opportunities down the road, not just when it comes to brand deals, but also when it comes to laying the foundation for long-term wealth. Great job, everyone. Keep going. This is how momentum is built.

Life lesson I learned this week
I posted in a girls wrestling parent group this week about excited I was that London had the opportunity to learn about NIL deals, recruitment and branding through this community. The response was fast and sharp which I should have expected from a FB group of strangers, but still, it caught me off guard. It sent me thinking about something I’ve seen with people who start new things or make progress in something: the beginning is rarely kind. There’s usually noise before there’s momentum, and the noise often says more about the room than the person. What hit harder was that this wasn’t about me, it was about my kid. That’s the moment that makes me wanna ask someone to hold my earrings because I'm about to make choices that don't look great on paper, ha! But I paused. It also made me notice how different sports feel. When London played hockey, the parent spaces felt more supportive. Wrestling feels more individual - which it literally is but I wasn't expecting that to extend to the parent energy. As I start this journey with my daughter, especially as a young female learning not to take everything to heart, it’s making it very clear how important the right kind of armor is when she puts herself out there. Not to block the world, just to keep other people’s opinions from moving in and taking over her head. You already train for top mental performance when you compete, but adding outside commentary is a whole different layer (even for me as a Mom!). Athletes are basically mini public figures now and it makes a lot of sense why Taylor Swift doesn’t read her comments! :) The lesson I learned was the same as the athletes here need to watch what things they let into their energy bubbles and heads, parents need to do the same. For me, I am going to exit the wrestling FB group to only allow proactive things in...and to make sure I don't end up in prison (kidding...but am I though?). :) Has anyone else noticed different sports carrying different "support" vibes when it comes to the parent side?

This post is so valuable. The awareness and lesson is invaluable. NIL is still in its infancy and there’s so much unknown. People are so conditioned to react to the unknown with judgement and insecurity instead of curiosity and support like Santia mentioned above. You’re ahead of the curve 💪 keep doing what you’re doing!
