@Kevin Hall Yes, exactly, the “afterwork” is such a good way to put it. I’ve definitely found that part challenging too. I actually came across someone who helped me rethink how I was approaching the marketing side, and I’m really glad I did. It’s been making a noticeable difference in my sales, which I honestly didn’t expect at first. Have you found anything that’s worked particularly well for you when it comes to finding your tribe?

@Mary Catherine Liscinski I’d probably keep the main focus on parents, but definitely mention that the approach can work for adults too. If readers are already telling you that, I’d listen to that signal. I’m curious, have you noticed adults responding to the book differently than parents? And do you think there’s enough interest to eventually make the adult angle its own book?

@Joe Tyndall I know exactly what you mean. There’s always something you don’t realize you need to know until you’re already in the middle of it. I’ve actually been getting some help with the marketing side, and last month I did a little over $10K in sales. It’s made a big difference having someone who knows what they’re doing.
