Give away your audiobook on Spotify!!!
I'm shocked and so happy! It appears that Spotify is now allowing authors to give away 1,000 audiobooks, at no cost to them. It was 100, now it's 1,000! Can every one say YAY!!!!!!!!
@Rob Cole Just meaning that you get less money when someone just listens to part of your book instead of buying the whole book?
@Gary Anderson yes, at this point you can give away only 1,000. It used to be only 100!
Widen the audience?
My book was recently published and I'm doing another version. The first was secular and this next one will be Christian, it is a parenting book about getting kids off screens. The scientific solutions work for kids and adults, though. I knew that, and readers keep telling me that. Should I write this next book, geared to parents and adults, or still just parents, and mention that adults can use it too, in the Amazon description?
Ghostwriter
I am contemplating how to get more versions of my book out there, now that my first one is published. It is currently aimed at parents, but I think it could be turned into a small textbook, like for a 1-hour elective class on Digital Addiction. I'm thinking to hire a ghostwriter who does textbooks, it just feels daunting to me to write more, and textbooks have a certain style to them that I would have to learn, which would take time. Any thoughts on hiring a ghostwriter, and where to get one? I've already looked for a ghostwriter, and I can't find one for academic works.
@Cole digital Consultant how would I go about finding someone to partner with, if not a ghostwriter? This is for a college level course.
@Cole digital Consultant not yet, I'm still investigating.
Selling direct through IngramSpark
Those of you who sell direct through your website / IngramSpark, what are the advantages? What should I know?
@Julie Broad yes, I'm talking about that. Do you still recommend it?
Ingram paper
For my book about treating digital addiction, I want it to be professional looking. Should I choose the 70lb paper? I don't want there to be any see-through that might happen with the 50lb. What has been your experience?

@Rebecca Phillips Wow, thanks for your thoughts! Good for you, writing a book that is so good and won't make you much money, that is very commendable.
