Copyright application
Can I apply for copyright, then publish, then get the official document in the mail after that, or do I need to wait for the document before I publish? I know I don't have to apply for anything, I can just claim copyright myself, but I want it official and don't want to mess the process up.

@Kent Harris Thank you! Yes, I have done toastmasters and have a lot of speaking experience. Getting to speak where I want to is another story, though! My book is about the harms that too much screen time causes, and 6 solutions that I have found to stop the addiction and heal the brain. I posted a question about my title and subtitle, if you see it.
