(On-Site) Level 1 Technical Support | Pay: $20 - $30/hr.
Location: Waltham, MA Job Summary: As a Level 1 Technical Support specialist, you will be an essential part of the IT support department, providing critical assistance to ensure seamless technology operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. What's the Job? - Perform hardware and software installations, configurations, and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues efficiently. - Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, peripherals, and conference room AV equipment. - Manage ticketing processes by logging, categorizing, documenting, and tracking support requests. - Create and maintain documentation of standard operating procedures and hardware/system inventory. - Conduct initial diagnosis and provide first-contact resolution, escalating issues to Level 2/Level 3 teams when necessary, and following up to ensure resolution.
