Week 1 Questions & Slides
Hi Everyone, thanks for a great session yesterday. Per our homework slide - please think about and answer these questions in the thread below: 1. What is your risk profile: low, medium or high? 2. Who are your ideal potential tenants? - (age, income, etc.) 3. What type of investor do you want to be? (passive, semi-passive, active) 4. What are the characteristics of a city and location you'd want to invest in? (size, population growth, house prices, density, amenities, etc.) Here's a link to the powerpoint: WEEK 1.pptx

I answer this fully knowing that my answer today might look different as I go through the rest of the lessons and gaingin more knowedlge 1- Medium risk, at least for my first proprety investement 2- If I won't go through the proprety manager route and decide to interact personaly with the tenants I would most definetly learn towards students and idealy young profesionals like myself 3- Active, potentially BRRR 4- Based on my answer to question 2, I believe that an area with a younger demography would be ideal, closer to colleges or buisnesses (maybe even in a close proximity to both) and public transit.

Hello hello, I'm Elliott , a sofware developer living in Toronto, working from home in the past few years have introduced to tons of oportunities to learn and try diffent things. From all these ''different' things , what stuck was a passion to learn about money, financial literacy and invessting in the stock market, which then naturally introduced me into the value created by investing in real estate.
