What are the best ways to teach a dog to self-settle? He is a 2 yr Boxer/Lab and a foster, fairly new to me. He is quite rambunctious and the best word for it is 'pinballing". He is also quite clingy. We're making progress with crate, play/fulfillment and training, and he does settle pretty easily after an exposure or two. But each new person/thing/environment sets him back to square one. I need him to be sane for potential adopters. Can you break down the practice (levels and benchmarks) you'd do? Or even just general tips, other than 'more practice' lol.

I just noticed this is at the same time as Tyler Muto's IACP webinar. I'll have to catch you in the replay, sorry! Look forward to the next one.
