New Episode and a QUESTION 🤗
The latest episode of The Thinking Horse and Rider is up — and it’s a good one. We’re talking about the seven things we don’t learn in riding lessons… but probably should. From awareness and nervous system regulation to relational consistency, autonomy, and leadership in flow — this conversation goes deeper than technique and ribbons. It got me thinking… What do you wish someone had taught you when you first started riding? Not how to post. Not how to pick a diagonal. But something about: • Your energy • Your mindset • Your horse’s nervous system • Communication • Partnership Drop it in the comments. 👇 Let’s see what this community would add to the “real curriculum” of horsemanship. And if you haven’t listened yet, the full episode is linked here on YouTube, but you can listen on all of your favorite podcast platforms!

I wish I’d learned more about how a horse’s mind operates, biomechanics, energy work (although I intuitively knew that as a child somehow), and physiology. First aid wouldn’t been bad or nutrition either, for that matter.
