End of Month Reflection
Over this last month we looked at different triggers both physiological and mental and explored how to interrupt the cycle of being triggered. What worked well for you? Where did you struggle? What has been your biggest take-away? Tell me in the comments or make a new post in the "wins and challenges".

When I triggered, what has been working best for me is to immediately take a break, whether that looks like going to the restroom or taking a walk, so I can gather my thoughts and make choices about how I want to respond, what I want to say or do. I've noticed that the more I do this the more I build a bank of automatic responses to triggering situations.
Success Favors Action!
Hello Everyone! March is officially upon us. Let's take it on together! January and February we started off soft. Easing you into it with Self-Awareness and Self-Trust, covering topics like Patterns, triggers, strengths and blind spots and building up to confidence, hesitation and fear. March will be about staying steady under pressure, emotional regulation, reactivity, and nervous system awareness. Moving forward we will be adopting a more action-oriented approach. Stick with it and watch as everyday you will see yourself stepping into your real potential. Some changes: 1. The prompt format is changing to incorporate a weekly challenge. These challenges are designed to be small things you can take on in short time with plenty of opportunities to succeed. And a mid-week reflection to help you adjust and increase your success. Monday will be the regular prompt + challenge + accountability. Wednesday will be a reflection + readjust as needed. 2. The Saturday group coaching calls on the calendar have decided to change their name to Leaders Lab. The link has not changed (only the name) Let's get to it: https://www.skool.com/jpmc/responding-vs-reacting?p=07261dc2

Very excited about this plan for March!
Responding vs Reacting
Where in your life do you feel the fastest emotional reactions — irritation, defensiveness, shutdown, urgency? Challenge: This week, choose one situation where you typically react quickly. When it happens, pause for 10 seconds (x2 deep breaths) before responding. Accountability: How will you remind yourself to pause? (Phone note? Sticky note? Breath cue?)

I like this practice!
Earning your own Trust
What is one small but difficult decision this week you could make without asking for outside input or approval? Challenge yourself to make that decision! How can you hold yourself accountable to actually make that decision? Focus: going from Building confidence in yourself >>> to >>> Collecting evidence for yourself

This is fun! I did this and while I felt a lot of anxiety in the moment, once it passed I felt very confident in my decision and action
How Fear Serves vs Hinders
When you feel resistance or fear to make a decision around taking action, how do you currently tell the difference between it being fear because it is the wrong decision vs fear of the unknown? Focus: Identifying what is triggering fear Acknowledging the fear being unfounded vs founded

If the fear is related to a conflict in my values then it is the wrong decision. If the fear is related to failure or embarrassment then it should be pushed back on
