Sharing my first doc scene with you!
This scene is probably going to change depending on the scenes before and after but I wanted to test what VO could flow with it, the type of music... It is one of the most beautiful lights I got to shoot, so I was excited to make a little edit out of it. I'm open to feedback of course. This is so beautiful. You have a beautiful use of the natural light, great archival footage and voice-over (loved his singing over the archives). I think the rhythm and all is very good too. Perhaps the sad piano music could fade in and out a little more? Just because it's already so moving and beautiful as is, sometimes I feel the music sort of "dictates" how the viewer has too feel too loudly, whereas here everything speaks for itself nicely already. But just a thought to try out.
